Also put a projected price you'd expect.

Here's mine:
Specs: 16GB RAM, X86 Processor, slightly below competitive power, 4 USB.
Controller: Next gen Wii Remote, features dual analog control, higher quality gyroscope and accelerometer, and most importantly, next gen haptic feedback. Sold separately: Dolphin Pro Controller- GCN style controller with larger D-Pad and c-stick, and dual triggers- $39.99
Online: Party chat, Cross-game chat, basically all the bells and whistles Sony and Microsoft systems have had for years.
Other: Comes with "Nintendo Specs", and a sensor bar that has IR light and IR sensing capabilities, clear glasses with IR lights on them that allow for headtracking in gameplay.
Media services: While no DVD or Blu-ray playback, offers an unprecedented number of medias steaming services for Nintendo.
Subscription services: Netlfix-like subscription service, where, if you pay a monthly subscription, you can stream any game in a library that starts with over 100 titles. A $5 subscription gives you unlimited access to all available retro games from NES to GCN as well as a handful of smaller titles (like Pushmo, Steel Diver Sub Wars, etc). A 15$ subscription gives you unlimited access to Wii, Wii U, and games on the new system.
Backwards compatibility: Virtual BC via eShop. Physical BC via the Wii U/Wii addon for $99
SKUs:
1: Family Bundle: No harddrive, comes with Wii Sports 3 bundled and a disc with demos of 6 kids and family games- $299
2: Gamer Bundle: 500 GB External HDD include, comes with new The Legend of Zelda game and 9 month subscription to the $5 service- $359

EDIT: The subscription service is an option. There are still the traditional downloadable eShop

Okay so I don't have much to say specs wise but I am going to say that I'm not going to pay a subscription just so I can play VC games, especially when I can buy them more permanent and the same goes for the add on. If they don't do BC okay but not this middle ground in which I have to buy a €100 add on too play my old games. It's BC or none at all, not some cash grab

Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am

Though I like Nintendo to focus on innovation rather than raw power, I'd like to see them make a powerful PC-like system because Nintendo with first party games + third party games = unstoppable.

I don't dream about consoles themselves. I actually don't care much for what the console itself has to offer. It's all about the games for me. Well, and I hope Nintendo never succumbs to multimedia nonsense - that's the bane of dedicated gaming, which Sony and Microsoft are already setting out to kill under the flag of "multi-entertainment" (what a load of bull). A good console doesn't need trash like social media connects, movie/show streaming, or paid subscription services, period. No arguments count.
But regardless of performance, any console can have good games if developers are willing to use their brains for a change and get crafty within the given limitations. Sadly, big developers nowadays keep making worse games that only impress through aggressive and dishonest advertisement campaigns.
Nonetheless, I've already sworn to myself that the N3DS is the last "new" console I'll ever get, since I'm neither willing to put up with the whole HD farce, nor am I interested in hyper-modernizeg games that have no actual value to themselves.

I don't want backwards compatability, I just think Nintendo needs to move on and fill the console brand new, upto date hardware, not have half arsed tech with the old tech tacked on.
I agree, the next console needs way more ram. There's times I think that the OS on the WiiU sucks away too much ram that could be better spent on games, having enough ram would solve that problem.
The internet browser needs flash player, and everything internet based needs to be kept upto date on a regular basis.
I would like to see a return of the game pad. I want it to be able to go a bit further with the wireless connectivity.
I ain't paying for online subscriptions, it's fine as it is. Why should I pay twice to use the internet.
Mii's can go. They serve no real purpous now.
The gamepad camera could be used to make youtube vlogs.
Skype chat would be nice.
The ability to play my music in games.
The ability to play my downloaded games and use save files on a friends console.

The problem is that the Gamepad adds a ton to the costs of the system.

Subscription services themselves aren't bad. What's bad is when you have to pay for them.

It's not a cash grab. It's a reality. If they do X86, they can't do physical BC unless they include a second processor, at which point the system is too expensive to succeed. The add-on is a compromise, allowing people who want BC to get it but not forcing it on people who don't want it.

The subscription service is an option. It's not the only thing there, and there is a clear benefit to it. Instead of having to buy every game you want to try, you can pay the 5 dollar subscription, and play whatever you want for however long.

Not a big fan of this one. It probably would cost in the thousands, and for not much benefit. The handheld can always be sold separately and still have the streaming like the Vita and PS4 have. 4K is pretty pointless IMO. We've gotten to the point where 1080p is "enough".

8GB and 8core CPU is what the PS4 and XB1 have. Not really much advancement, and 2018 is way too late IMO.

Not exactly what you think the Smartwatch could be used for.

I don't know. I don't really care about the console, I want good games. An open world Mario in the vain of Mario 64 but on a bigger scale... now that is what I want As far as dream consoles go, the WiiU is pretty much my perfect console.

It's Wario time Yaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

If they go the X86 way (whuch I din't see happening) than they should drop BC, the add on will only make it look bad as it will comfuse people and look like a cash grab. You also seem to forget how you'd attatch the thing, usb cables aren't going to cut it but you also don't want to have dedicated ports on your new system cause then people will feel like they aren't getting everything they paid for. An add on as middle ground theoraticlly doesn't sound bad but practically it just wouldn't work.

The thing with the subscription is that you want me to pay 5 bucks a month/year(?) just so I have access to an abundance of games I'll never play/try till the service ends when I can pay the same amount for a game I'm sure to enjoy and have on my console for ever more. You get that these things collide with each other, trying to please everyone doesn't allways go well as we have seen with the WiiU.

Two things. Club Nintendo as you describe it doesn't work like that in most countries outside of the usa. Most of us still use the star/point system winthout any gold or platinum status. It might be something you guys are used to but for many countries it would be a great overhaul of Nintendo's platform something which takes a lot of manpower.

And paying 50$ for online? I think that's even more expensive then on the xbox besides now we get the same for free so I'm espcially intrigeted by the Stable part
