Yes my favorite Zelda game is back, will do a play of every game in the series leading up to the release of the new game.

WAT!

Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

doesn't calling the amiibo "wolf link" kill the surprise to younger gamers who didn't play the original? "midna and wolf" could have kept the surprise perhaps!

i'm happy it's getting a remake, for some reason. i'm happy you fans got what you wanted!

but that's after you play the game! i remember wondering what the wolf stuff was all about and you don't know until you're playing

Eel

The boxart clearly puts the wolf and link as the central focus, and you can easily find out by looking at the back of the box or the instructions booklet.

Man, that amiibo sure is STACKED!

So do I have to use motion controls like with the Wii or can I use a controller like the Gamecube?

Screenshots showed buttons for the Gamepad, so obviously you're going to swing it around like a sword

This video really shows off how much cleaner the game looks in HD. I admit, I wasn't too impressed when they first showed the footage, but looking at it some more I can see the obvious upgrade to the textures.

Offspring

I will admit it looks better than I thought but that's not saying much. The game still looks dated as the ground and most of the character models look awful.

Well that just killed it for me guess I will just stick with the GC version.

also what's up with midna

But for real! It totally spoils the mid-game twist.

But it's SOOOOO beautiful! One of the few instances I actually prefer the NA box art to Japan's.

Apparently Zelda HD remakes up the resolution of the game and lifts the gold filter from the cover s (although I guess TP never quite had that .)

The game looks better than I initially thought it would, but I can't stand the towers of Hyrule Castle. They are made up of like, 2 polygons apiece, with obvious, flat textures. WW was able to look great with simple upgrades, but TP needs a lot more to look better. I'm on the fence about this, its a meh remake of a... ehhh mehhh okay game. Oh... hey @Haru17, I meant best Zelda ever...

Nintendo patched the GC version so that the GC controller is motion controlled too!

Yep, the textures are definitely clearer and way less murky. Almost comparable to when I first got glasses.

Almost.
