Um, this is different. For most people, better graphics are the ONLY thing needed in an HD remake, so if we wanted something better than what is basically the wii graphics in HD, it's not just being graphics whores.

What are you quacking about? Graphics are the #1 reason to remaster old games. Especially those that technically already work on the console.
Anyway here's the best comparison I could make. I think it's just about good enough an improvement to make me buy it. Although not if its a full price game.
Possibly unpopular opinion, but I would have preferred an HD Skyward Sword. The changes to that game probably would have been a lot more noticeable than this one. That is to say, noticeable at all

Worth pointing out that Twilight Princess on the Wii actually looks like that. Contrast that with this HD remake which will no doubt look better when it's not a screenshot of a livestream. The grass for example, the original textures are actually as low resolution as that. The HD remake? Well some parts look fairly high res, others look the same as the original textures. Fair to say there's a lot of compression going on.

Watching the HD trailer, I think they've actually updated all of the textures. If you look closely, you can see there's more detail on things like background walls and things like that. It's just that some stand out more than others.

I'm sure they have. The problem is that a lot of that sort of detail is lost with video compression, especially on a live stream. Actually, as I'm typing this I found a few higher resolution screenshots which speak for themselves:
And THIS is what convinced me to preorder instead of waiting until after the game releases. TP was my first Zelda game, and both Wolf Link and Midna have a special place in my heart.

One can dream. I seem to recall seeing somewhere that it's the GameCube version? I've only played the Wii version, so a mirrored world would already be interesting.
Make sure they're not just an HD texture pack someone made for Dolphin!
They're from a fairly reputable Australian website and I linked directly to them. Plus they've got the Wii U HUD on the top which should be proof enough. Either way, the fact that you're wondering whether they're legit or not says something about how much better the game looks than it did on the stream.
