@Grumblevolcano:
Oh ok, thanks! I figured I just hasn't progressed far enough. But then I realized the game never explained how to do the save data thing so maybe I just hadn't figured it out
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
@Xyphon22: Pretty sure Hero mode just mirrors the world and doubles damage. I would be really weird for them to undo their improvements in one mode.
Yes, I thought it would be odd for them to have done that, but I also thought it would be cool if they did so I thought I'd ask. At least I would have liked it, even if I'm in the minority there.
Is there a link to the forums on the site anymore? I've been having to google search "NintendoLife Forums just to find it since the new design went live
Standard game - non-mirrored + 1x damage
Hero Mode - mirrored + 2x damage
Ganondorf amiibo - non-mirrored + 2x damage (until you die, then it's 1x until you scan the amiibo again)
Hero Mode + Ganondorf amiibo - mirrored + 4x damage (until you die, then it's 2x until you scan the amiibo again)
@Haru17: I'd say- in this version at least- the tedium ends once the Moblins attack Ordon, everything since then picks up the pace and is very enjoyable. The Twilight Sections aren't nearly as bad as some purport them to be, particularly as there are 4 less insects to get. I'm at the entrance to the Goron Mines with 4 hours playtime on my save file so I'll see how/if they changed Lanaryu in any way soon but almost everything so far has been great.
Considering that doing puzzles in a Zelda game wasn't at all tedious in the original version, I'd imagine not.
@JaxonH from the drop down menu of the forums, choose All Topics to have them all show up.
I don't know if it is because of off TV play, but I've been noticing some frame rate drops recently like when in Faron woods and the monkey was clearing the fog or learning a hidden skill. I don't recall this happening in the Wii version. I am currently playing on the game pad though so that may be causing it.
Kinda disappointed that no music tracks for the HD remaster were remade. I would have actually thought they would have remaster the opening theme something like this:
But seriously, WW HD ost was fully remastered, why not TP HD?

Waaaas, iiiiiit, thoooooough???
I'd love to seen Twilight Princess reorchestrated (or just plain orchestrated) in a way that retains the original tone of the compositions. But I think we've known for a while now that we'll have to wait a good deal longer for a proper remaster.

Since remapping instrument samples for a remaster isn't an expensive process, I guess it's any of these reasons:
Tantalus didn't have the required music/technical knowledge in-house.
Time-wise, Nintendo's own sound department couldn't allocate resources for it.
Nintendo wants to make a bigger impact with the music in Zelda U.
Someone at Nintendo thought the music was ok.
@jariw: I would say it's a mixture of several of those reasons, mainly "someone at Nintendo thought the music was ok".
I have yet to actually play the game yet despite having the Amiibo edition since Friday. There's just way too many other games I need to finish and not necessarily from Nintendo's own platforms.
