Topic: The Wonderful 101 - OT

I had a hard time even finding a copy of the game on launch day. None of the stores I went to advertised it while there were ads for Rayman and Pikmin basically everywhere. One store acknowlegded TW101 when I asked in the counter, but they claimed that a mess up on their part resulted in no copies being available. Even when I looked online most stores (at least those that sold it cheaper) wouldn't have it available for launch day, which was strange to me. All this makes me think that there wasn't much faith in this selling well to begin with. I can see it becoming a cult classic down the road though, and for one I'm glad to be part of the following.

Also if it's any consolation it's been doing decently on the eShop charts, but we won't know any actual numbers unless Nintendo releases them.

I just realized this comes out on Mexico's Independence Day. Lol

I watched a first impressions stream and my brain is broken. This game is too much...oh my god...

And central america too. I'm really desperate with waiting

Well, I bought it a few days ago, on Friday. I'm not sure I'll love it, but I'll at least experience the game, and feel how it is to waste money, IF IT IS BAD, that is.

Waiting for a price drop. The demo was good, but not £35 good.

I just got the game, and played the first level. It might be too early for me to say this but...
The full game is WAY better than the demo version. There's so much more to it, and I already love the game. Before when I only had played the demo I was doubting it, but now I'm not.
It's just as most people say. This game doesn't get enough attention.

Oh and the game runs at 60 fps mostly.

I think the demo should've showcased the first boss, because that's where I think the game really starts to shine.

You know I am probably being lazy here, but can anyone say how big the download is? I was going to buy the physical copy but this doesn't seem like the type of game you trade in for a long time. I just had an idea that I can get it digitally and get the 10 percent from the digital deluxe program to put toward zelda next week.

About 10GB.

Just picked this up in ole US. Can't wait to play later today.

Ugh, I gotta say. This game is sometimes bad at telling you what to do / where to go / when an enemy attack and so on. Some enemy attacks just happen with no response time, and other attacks where you have to avoid it, it doesn't say where it attacks. And if there are ways to deflect the attack, it's also bad at telling you. I know of Fire Hand and Laser Sword, but no more.
On the second boss here [Not Really a Spoiler] you have to use the whip to go with the plane, I never got it to work... It never told me WHEN to click, but I tried and tried but never got it to work. [End] And then there are the camera angles that can be frustrating sometimes. Sometimes there are even objects in the way so you can't see what's going on, for example enemy attacks. And then you die.
Anyway, something I really loved, [Minor 2nd Boss Spoiler] was how you had to tickle him to fall of! HAH! It surprised me when Red shouted "UNITE HAND" and the started tickling! [End]
This game both has its good and bad moments, but I overall like it! Could have been much better with some minor tweaks.

Don't you think it'd be way too easy if every attack was heavily telegraphed?

going to download this at 12:00:01 am if it will let me, I am stoked. I decided to go digital as I don't think this is the kind of game you trade in and I want as much money going to the dev/NOA for it so I went digital. Go figs. I am getting WW on the 20 th too.

@CanisWolfred Not sure, but behind hit by small guys because you can't see them while they stand in your group, or getting rushed on by something in high speed just because it forces the camera to be zoomed in feels unfair.
It doesn't have to be "heavily" telegraphed, just in a way that you CAN notice if you pay attention.
