I hope that Nintendo doesn't go back to the "Peach gets kidnapped" well again. 3D World showed that they're more than capable of making a plot other than just that.
Personally, I'd like to see either Super Mario Sunshine HD or a 3D World sequel with a playable Bowser.

it'd be cool to see a Mario game where Mario is the villain(or at least "posessed" or brainwashed by the villain) so Bowser, Goomba, Paratroopa and Kammy Koopa become the heroes

You know, when you said that.. it reminded me of Super Luigi U. Now I kind of think they'll make something akin to that for Mario 3D World.. especially the way Reggie keeps saying that year of Luigi will continue into 2014. So.. yeah. Incoming Super Luigi 3D World.
More on topic.. I'd like to see a Super Mario Universe or a Mario game where you play as Bowser and his cronies. I like that idea. Who knows what they'll actually do though.
