Sakurai said in the New Content Approaching direct that tourney mode would be available sometime in August... back in June. July 31st is pretty much August, so we ARE getting tourneys this Friday. Not next month, Friday.

Ya guys, so far the smash updates have been released all at the same time, and some stuff came earlier then expected, we will get it Friday...if not then what's the problem?

I hope we get it Friday and IGN is wrong but the article made it very clear that only Japan is getting it Friday and North America isn't until a later date.

When I checked the article it said they hadn't received any word from Nintendo.

I don't know how it would work if updates come later for America because then how will things such as For Glory work between NA and EU/Japan?

No, the US is getting it on Friday as well according to the Smash Bros Facebook page. IGN needs to update their article.

Is a stage 2.5 dollars? Because Nintendo Japan said it will be 250 yens each which is 2.5 dollars if you convert it...

I dunno, probably around that price...I think the Kirby Smash 64 stage was $4.99 for both versions, so...yeah.

what a crock. if that's true would that be a surprise? all americans do all day is hang bologna on nintendo for not reading their minds, which in turn are schizophrenic and change daily, you can't please american kids, i don't know why they pretend they can be pleased.

sorry, why isn't there a swear filter? i have noticed mods cleaning up my posts, that is a lot of effort that can be avoided with a filter!!

Apparently, the idea is that putting a filter will just make users who want to swear find other ways to do so. Like changing letters for symbols and stuff.

Just waiting for those other mii outfits to be shown...hopefully it will be announced shortly.
