Topic: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - OT

So yeah, I just have the feeling, something tells me we'll get a new character announcement at E3. lol
I mean, we just got Mewtwo and Lucas and showing up this summer, but they are just old characters. I can just see them doing a new character trailer at the end or something.

The Smash Ballot pretty much guarantees there'll be at least one newcomer as dlc down the road. I'm not sure if it'll get announced at E3 (unless Ryu is real and shows up), but I am certain will get some character then.

Not talking about the Ballot characters, lol. But I'm sure they've been working on an actual new character that could be announced next month.

Wolf needs to come back. He was just as requested as Lucas.

I'd take Wolf over Ryu any time.

every Smash Bros has added a new Star Fox character, except Smash 4. It feels weird to me. 64 had Fox, Melee had Falco, and Brawl had Wolf, but Smash 4 didn't get a new Star Fox character, in fact we lost one. I say bring back Wolf and make Krystal happen.

You're not alone. I would rather have Sora as another 3rd Party rep, but hey, Ryu works too, especially since this is a fighting game. (To an extent, anyways.)

You know maybe the events being the same time, maybe Sora will be announced for Smash at the same time for both events.

I want Ryu. I just also want Wolf, K. Rool, Shovelknight, Shantae, Krystal, Sora, I'd even take Mickey, honestly. >w> I think I have a rather large scope for what can fit in this game without being entirely ridiculous. (Mickey isn't a video game character, I know, and I'm not going to excuse that at all. I just think if we EVER get an animation/cartoon character in Smash, Mickey will be pick #1.)

I also want some of the Senran Kagura characters in, but we all know that's definitely not happening. xD

I do too. I think it's a bit of jumping the shark, but in a good way. I'd definitely want him over Lucas or Star Wolf.

I think Ryu will be the character revealed at E3, with Lucas available following the Digital Event. Ryu would make a much bigger presence than a veteran character like Wolf or Roy. Wolf I think will happen anyways, probably around December. The first Ballot character isn't coming until next year most likely.

I would gladly pay for Wolf, Roy, and Ryu. Why not, might as well add Isaac and K. Rool.

I don't think we should go crazy with the DLC, but there characters will make a lot of people (not everyone) happy.

I do think the metagame won't be able to fully start to develop until thb roster is finished.
