Topic: Super Mario 3D World - OT

This is obviously going to be the best Mario game ever created in my opinion, galaxy games aside.
Ah, it's times like this when I'm glad I'm a Mario fan.

It's looking pretty awesome. I'm starting to get excited for the release!

@DestinyMan It looks more like Mario Kart than Sonic to me...

For the record, Mario (and Luigi) have been running up walls since Super Mario World.

On a side note, I noticed that small clip with the metal boss shows only one Green Star. Will there be boss-only levels?

Anyone seen the Chain Chomps or Bloopers around? A Mario game just wouldn't feel complete without them, especially with the Chain Chomps with cats suits and...y'know!

I love that picture. Makes me hope that if Chain Chomps do appear, we get to see our character speed up tenfold the minute they see it. And the Chomp deliberately chase them around.

As for boss only levels, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Seems to be a trend in quite a few recent video games, especially platformers.

On another note, I've really got to stop watching all these videos or else I'll have no surprises when I come to play the game, but I can't help it!

@Dark-Luigi I've seen Bloopers in one of the recent gameplay videos, so that's one out of two.

Man, this game looks to be far greater then anybody anticipated with every passing day!

I image a whole lot of people russing to their stores and computers to get or order this game. And who would blame them? This game just gets to good for me to handle.

I remember the E3 reveal and many users claimed this to be a lazy 3DLand up port. Loving the new enemy designs and the worlds in this game are gorgeous. Welp, I'm off to EAT~

Haha, not sure if it was intended but, Mount Must Dash sounds so similar to Mount Moustache. Also, Mario Kart stage, haha. xP

So, at first I wasn't really into this game, but I've noticed recently that this game might have more content than I think. Content and replayability is something I look for in a game, and SM3DW looks like it has a ton of content that could keep me busy for a while. The levels look really creative as well.

Thinking about buying this game on launch. We'll see!

Wow. I thought the looks of the level was pure convenience but Mount Must Dash really is one big Super Mario Kart reference. Never thought I'd see a Mario Kart reference this big in a main Mario game. I imagine you'd go really fast with Toad.

I lol at the people who said this was just a 3D Land up port months ago lol.
