If there was a new brawler inspired by Streets of Rage, what would you like to see? 2D vs 3D, move sets, etc. What would you update, what would you keep the same. I'd love to hear!

Project Y looks great. I do think you have to use sprites with this sort of game, otherwise it doesn't feel the same.
Personally, I'd set the level at 32-bit, like Sega's System 32 arcade board. That could do all sorts of sprite scaling and was pretty much as good as it got before the era of polygons.
