Topic: Splatoon - OT

The more I see it, the more I like it. At first I was disappointed it was multiplayer only, but I'm totally over that now. I love that they've gone for it with online play, and I love it's a new IP. They could have easily shoe-horned Mario onto this, but they didn't.

Free-for-all would be a cool mode to see in the game.Also,I think a gamemode where the focus is on shooting eachother(like a Deathmatch).Overall,this is an insta-buy for me.

Favourite game of E3 for me. So excited for this game. The games that impressed were LBP3 and Far cry 4. Gonna be a good couple years.
I really hope they go all out with loads of wacky characters, guns and game modes. That would be so awesome.

Ign's comment section on articles featuring Splatoon seem to be overall VERY positive. I think this game is gonna be very liked as more info comes out.

This looks really cool. Looking forward to it. I'll admit, though, I'm kind of hoping it's not a $60 game. This seems perfect as a ~$20 eShop title.

Looks interesting, but I'm seriously hoping the final product allows teams larger than just 4 players.

I'm hoping there's more mode's t than the cool tale on dominion.

Wow this looked really good. I didn't get to watch the direct until a couple hours ago as I was at work while it was happening, but I was kinda reading along online and this game got mentioned but I didn't really read much about it and I wasn't expecting much. I'm super excited after seeing all the things we can do, swimming in the paint looks like it's gonna be great. this feels like a cross between paintball, portal and a link between worlds.

This is the highlight of E3 for me: the only game I know I 100% for sure will get. I can't wait to go crazy shooting the ink all over the place, but I can't help but laugh at the thought of anyone OCD trying to play this game and achieve perfect ink coverage of every little spot while everyone is spraying massive quantities of ink all helter-skelter.

I hope there are more options than just two teams of four.

I fell in love with this game as soon as they announced it! Definitely a day one purchase.

This looks like one of the best and most unique shooters I've ever seen and I'm sad that I'll have to wait until 2015 to play it...

The music makes me want to go to a water park though...

Also, Nintendo is once again notoriously bad at naming things. Do they realize how close this sounds to "Spittoon"? Then again this comes from the company that made their last two consoles sound like a slang word for urine... come to think of it, none of the Nintendo platforms had particularly good names... ever. It's especially bad with Mario, like the confusing comparison between 3D Land and 3D World, or the use of the word "New" to separate it from similarly named games. Anyway, great games, just terrible names...

Right now, next to Zelda, this is probably the game I'm looking forward to most. It just feels fresh and unique. The more I see, the more I get hyped for it.

@Neoproteus I don't think this games name is too bad actually, it actually is fitting. I didn't make the Spittoon assimilation until you said it.
