@DreamyViridi: Well, sometimes I distinctly feel incompetent, too, so that wouldn't even be the problem (though I've seen even worse, a guy kept inking ground at the other teams spawn on Kelp Dome while the rest of us got slaughtered trying to defend the tower), but yeah, that's a new low for sure.
@Blue_Blur: Haha, if we did that everytime we lost control of the Tower, Rainmaker or Splat Zones, who would be left? XD
Luckily, the matches after that one were all right (obviously, I had some bad matches too, getting splatted more than necessary), so there was no loss, except for the momentary surprise and frustration.
@ TheXReturns: No, it really was annoying on the spur, but afterwards the matches were all right. Though if I ever meet that guy again, I'll voluntarily disconnect in the lobby. One time is enough.
Wait, what lamp? How did he even get there? That's potentially game breaking, as you could just put it there the moment you're in the lead and wait out the match!
I've been doing some stuff too, mostly in Turf War, but always when the timer was below 30 Seconds and there was no way of winning, like when in Turf War we were getting camped at the Spawn Point. What's the point to go out and get splatted? Or when in Rainmaker the other team was leading, had the RM and was camping in their own half of the map around their Spawn.

@yokokazuo: Quite frustrating, especially when trying to reach S/S+. I won't ever understand the motivation behind that, I mean, if I want to watch a match, I'd turn youtube on, but purposefully sabotage other people?
That Squidding thing triggers a memory, though it's been months since. On one of my first matches on Camp Triggerfish, our team got two squids who were squidding together for the whole match. I didn't see mutch of them after the start, because of the number of times I got splatted. XD

@Lycidas There's a couple of vids floating about on youtube. Why do you think we haven't seen Piranha Pit RM in such a long time? (Besides being rubbish) But yeah, it was really annoying. We managed to get it down, more by luck than by skill, but it ruined a good portion of the RM game.... If the opposing team know what they're doing, they can just guard the lamp, as you're ultra-vulnerable while getting it down. You kinda have to jump up to the railings, and then onto the lamp. If ever we do private battles (Which start this weekend, folks!) on Pirahna Pit RM, I'll have to show you what I mean.
@Freeon-Leon Congratulations!!! A couple of weeks ago, I'd never even heard of a Bamboozler user, now I know an S+ ranked one! Having trialled it for a while, I understand why you like it. It's kinda like how most people use Splat Chargers, but faster and more agile. If I was any good at chargers, I'd certainly give it a second look, but unfortunately, I'm not. XD
Man, I think my most-wanted feature for the next Splatoon is a Mario Kart 8-style replay feature. The mobility in this game is just unmatched — I want to slow it down and take it all in after a good game.
@VelvetElvis I'll agree with that, but add a larger hubworld, a larger singleplayer campaign, a couple of ranked modes, some new maps, possibly a new weapon type, and some new weapons, clothes and abilities, and some wishful thinking of a buff to roller range.
Oh, and 16-player 4 team matches. I'm ok with the lack of local play, (it'd take away some of the fun, but I'd like to see a wacky concept like that. Possibly not that, but something weird and fun.
I don't really know if I am very good with the hydra... I've usually done well in turf wars and when we were all Splatlings. I'll give a different kind a try. Also just found out that you can super jump as a kraken on top of grates without falling through. (Someone did that to me last match)
Well I did better with the regular Splatling that time at least, going to give the Hydra another shot.
Perhaps the Hydra isn't for me. I don't really know what other weapon I should use as a secondary though. Rainmaker is my worst mode however so I suppose that may also be part of the reason I'm doing poorly.
I should really practice more with the E-Litre, can't get any kills with it in Rainmaker lol
Also I didn't know you could super jump as a Kraken without falling into the grates, sounds insane
That Dual Killer Wail combo was amazing lol
The Hydra is pretty hard to use in Rainmaker since it's pretty hard to splat the Rainmaker user if you randomly bump into them, but it's really good at support. Especially in Tower Control and Splat Zones.
They somehow didn't see me from the back so I got the Rainmaker user.

Shoot, I thought we had that one... At the end I thought they would be standing back a bit to deal with our teammates so I went to the side to try and get a shot on them, but they had already gotten past the walkway...
