hate gyro controls. shuffling myself on the couch made my aim horrible. my girlfriend is currently playing it. So far i like it but if I can't turn off the gyroscope controls I don't see myself sticking with the game for long. I have hope because when doing local the other uses the pro controller which i'm sure doesn't have gyroscope in it.

Anyone else having serious issues with lag in matches? It's making the game practically unplayable. I've only completed two matches (both of which I won, HOHOHOHOHO) with the rest kicking me mid-match. I really hope it isn't my awful internet
I could not connect to other players so beyond the tutorial I have only played the arcade game waiting for the failed connection message. I have tried to fix it to the best of my ability, using Nintendo resources, but now I am seriously doubting whether or not to buy this game if I can't access half of it. Since I will be busy the other times, no other tests for me. This game went from must get to maybe get. As a note I have been to play Mass Effect 3 without issue, beyond the lack of players.

You can turn off Gyroscope controls as you choose your weapon by pressing + which will take you to a control settings menu .

Like seriously, you run fast enough as it is... you cover a wide area of turf, and OHKO everyone in your path. The majority of the time my entire team was just paint rollers, and we won 100% of the time just running around and sneeking up on players.

Its a good weapon but there are tons more in the full game so I can't call it op yet.
Surprisingly smooth for me. Only a few communication errors during the hour and no lag. I get the feeling I'm not too great at it though. I even tried all 4 weapons.
welp, you guys know I ain't the most easily impressed feller... but what little I played was nothing short of splatdifferous! Tell you what, depending on how the single-player mode and reviews turn out, Nintendo may just have gotten themselves a customer in me! Inklings are instantly iconic, which isn't easy to do these days. Get those guys in Smash, right now! (After Snake, of course.)
