Topic: Sonic Lost World revealed

The 3DS game might not be as good as the Wii U version. If they are the same game, it won't matter which one you get, but the Wii U version possibly being better will most likely only cause the Wii U version to be bought by owners of both consoles.
If you only have one of the consoles, anyone interested in the game will huy it for that console.
Would you buy both the Wii U and 3DS version if they were identical?

Definitely getting the Wii U one, since my Wii U collection might be lacking otherwise depending on what the new Mario game/s supposedly coming out this year are actually like. And also because I loved Colors so I trust Sonic console games again to be purchase worthy.

Its good to see a sonic game to be excited about. That unfortunately has been to long since I said that about sonic. Time really hasn't been nice the the blue blur.

This game looks really fun. I do not think that I will be pre-ordering it, however I will definitely be buying a copy.

I wouldn't rule out Mario this year because of this. The "3D Mario" team has almost certainly been working on the Wii U Mario since just before 3D Land launched. Which for comparison was the same gap between Spirit Tracks and Skyward Sword on the Zelda team and is about the longest gap between games on these teams so far.

What might be smart though is if Mario is ready don't delay it... but maybe don't have it compete with Sonic. This trailer looks awesome but Mario is something else entirely.

While I'm sure there were some people working on both, from my understanding both games had very different teams working on them.

We'll see at E3 I guess.. I for one hope that they'll keep the games one or two months apart. Something like Sonic in November and Mario December. Many will probably take Mario over Sonic and after seeing that trailer I think it deserves a puchase. Though Sega and Nintendo are probably discussing the right time for both games. Now let's hope Nintendo will also show Sega what to do with Wii U because Sonic still looks a bit jaggy to me.

Yeah I think Nintendo has a hand in designing the levels and they are probably doing most of the funding.

yeah thats what i thought too, wouldnt be suprised if some elements are ripped straight out of galaxy. makes me very interested in the other nintendo/sega partnership game to be announced, wonder if it will have the same quality this looks to have.

IGN has a much better quality trailer than the one they posted on YouTube up. Watch it in 720p. The low quality of the YouTube trailer is pretty deceiving.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they mention something like that not that long ago? I thought that was kinda the whole point behind this Sonic game when they announced it.....
