The Wii U already has several good games; however, you might want to wait till after e3 to see what Nintedo has planed for the rest of the year.

In the end it's your chose.

Honestly, it depends on what type of experiences you're looking for,
For example. I've put around 30Hours into Miiverse alone so far,
And another 30Hours into both NSMB.U and Lego City: Undercover.

All of which offer some pretty unique and entertaining experiences. Especially NSMB.U.
Which is quite possibly one the most entertaining Competitive Multiplayer games in years

I would of said no a few months ago but now the eShop is doing a lot better and there will some great games coming over the summer so I would say yes, but its up to you.

Nintendoland is a great multiplayer game. If you buy a Wii U, make sure to pick up Sonic and Allstars Racing Transformed. It is a TERRIFIC game. Sonic and Allstars is really fun with friends. And you can get it on Amazon for around $30 (new!!). I also really recommend New Super Mario Bros U.

If you are worried about being bored with it, definitely wait until there are more games out that excite you. If you do end up getting one, and wanting more games, you can always try Wii games that you have not played to tide you over. I pre-ordered my Wii U. As of now, there is not a whole lot on it. So since it's release I have bought a bunch of Wii games that I had not played while I had my Wii.

The eShop is definitely more fleshed out now, and if the release schedule is to be believed, the back end of this year should be MUCH better in terms of games. I haven't had an issue with my Wii U or the games so far, so for me it's just going to get even better. You just need to decide if you're going to be super concerned about not getting many 3rd party titles like Battlefield. If you don't have a PC or plan on buying PS4 or Xbone, you should really think long and hard if Nintendo's games are going to be enough for you this generation.

I would suggest getting it this fall/winter. Good games are going to start coming out soon.

I say wait until after E3 to see what is coming out and when, then make your decision as to when to buy one.

No. Don't do it.

Wait until the price drop and a little clarity on future titles.

Wii U is going to have great games because it will have Nintendo games. But if you havent joined in by now, don't rush.

Get one when it's cheaper, busier, better.

This is probably the worst week in the year to be deciding whether or not to get a console. Wait a couple of weeks when the news of E3 is out and the dust has settled.

If you're scared/doubtful then I suggest you wait a bit more. The Wii U is a great console but there aren't many that many top games on the system yet but I'm sure that this will be fixed come the 11th and beyond. Also you will probably find better deals/bundles in the coming months so be patient.

Super Metroid is 30ยข. That should keep you entertained for a while. There's a free Rayman App, and the free Wii Street U app(Google maps with GamePad control).
There's games that are pretty recent on all the systems right now(ports), like Tekken Tag 2, Assassin's Creed 3, and Sonic Racing. There's New Super Mario Bros. U, Toki Tori 2, Nano Assault Neo...
You're better off just buying the console and looking for yourself. It really depends on what games you like. I bought $135 worth of eShop money so I could buy whatever on launch day, because no one knew what would be on the eShop.

It's 10% back. Every $50 you spend gives you $5.

It actually works out to be 7% (or at least it is in Aus) and it probably works out to be a bit less than that again. They give you points which go towards a voucher. So far I have a 0% "discount", if I spend another $22.66AU I'll have a 7% "discount", if I spend another $105.98AU I'll have a 3.5% "discount".

idk what math you are doing, but you are horribly wrong.

You get 10% back in points, which then give you vouchers for the eShop. That doesn't mean the discount is less, it just means that's how you get the money back.
