Sorry for being off topic but, why is this topic not locked yet? This thread has nothing to do with the Wii U. It should have been in the General Discussion section.

Before it gets locked, my idea has always been that Mario should go after all 3 Princesses next time around. Peach is kidnapped by Bowser Jr, Rosalina by Bowser but before he rescues them, he has to save Daisy from Tatanga. You could use multiple characters a la Mario 64 DS to help. I think that'd be good. Rosalina levels like Mario Galaxy, Peach levels a mix of 2D and 3D mario and Daisy similar to Mario Land.

So your answer for fleshing out Daisy's character is, instead of having 8 worlds in a straight line, laying out 9 worlds in a 'T' shape?

@arronishere: Then where's my Waluigi game for Wii U?

Honestly, why not? The few bits of personality we got for Daisy so far seem to strongly indicate that she's a very sassy and stubborn, but also a much more competent ruler than Peach, seeing how she was kidnapped just once, and that was a full-on alien!
However, she shouldn't have her own "universe".
She's the ruler of Sarasaland, so put her in a Wario & Waluigi game as either the employer ("My MacGuffin was stolen! Get it back and I'll make you rich!") or the counterpart ("You stole my MacGuffin! And my treasure! DIE!") of the dastardly duo! The potential is there, but Nintendo already has Peach and Rosalina to deal with, I suppose defining Daisy for sure would limit her character too much to outsource her to even more party games.

Yeah, I could say that for half the threads in the Wii U section. People just post threads there because it's at the top of the Gaming section on the forum page, without any concern as to whether it actually concerns the Wii U specifically or not...
I've got it... an episodic dating sim called 'Daisy's Dating Dares,' where only the first episode, 'Waaa,' ever gets released. There two birds, on- "HI I'M DAISY!"
Or maybe that's sexist? Or would it be more sexist to have a male protag trying to do the things with the ladies!? Ok, ok, ok, let's just settle on 'stupid.'
Don't forget that this happened. So,yeah, why not.
This may be both the reason to not make a Daisy game/series and the best reason to make a Daisy game/series.
The former because they've shown they clearly have problems making games with a female lead, and the latter because if they get it right at least they don't have to include it as part of the Princess Peach series (which would minimize comparisons).
No joke; wasn't Super Princess Peach about Peach using her emotional magic to retrieve a magical mcguffin that was sorta implied to be a sex toy?
This, of course, doesn't mean there's a problem with making female-lead games so much as making female-lead games like this. Suffice it to say that when your first thoughts on a project are 'girlz = emotions' and 'let's farm this out to a lesser developer' that you're going to have a bad time.
Anyway, Peach was a great protagonist in Super Paper Mario. There's no reason they couldn't just make another great game like that where Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, and, iunno, Vivian, team up to thwart Wendy Koopa and Dixie Kong's evil plot.
@Haru17 I... guess it was? It's very much the laconic version, but it's close enough, I suppose. And I agree that the way Super Princess Peach brought Peach herself in shouldn't become a habit for other female leads (though it kinda is more often than some realize), but for Peach herself, it was very fitting, so I'm cool with it in this case.

No... no it wasn't... Bowser realises if he wants to take over the mushroom kingdom he's been kidnapping the wrong person this whole time so he goes after mario. unfortunately he underestimated Peach and she, with the help of Percy the magic umbrella, thwarts his plans. The only nintendo game I know of with a sex toy in it is Captain Rainbow.

Following the original question, Daisy already have her "universe"; Sarasara Land is in the Mario world, but that little that Super Mario Land showed was crazy and mostly out of the mushroom Kingdom canon. Nintendo could easily expand that world and giving it a unique vibe if they wish to.
But why they should? Most fans don't really like Daisy, she's the female Luigi pretty much, but with even less fans. Personally I'm a big fan of the yellow princess and her never ending introducing herself, but I'm afraid it's pretty much proved that Peach and Rosalina are way more loved by the fanbase, Nintendo have no time to waste for flash out more a " seconday" "filler" princess and her world ^_^;
