Hey everyone, I had a question that I was hoping I could get some light shed on. I'm just about out of space on my 32 GB Wii U and I saw that the system had an SD Card slot. So I purchased a 32 GB SDHC card to use with the Wii U. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I opened the item that I learned you could not run games from an SD card, only transfer files from the Wii with it.
After a quick Google Search I learned that SD Card adapters with a USB Port could be used to get around this. However all of the articles that were coming up regarding it were from 2012, around the launch time of the Wii U.
So my question is, now that it's almost 2016 and people have had the chance to use SD Adapters with their Wii U's for an extended period of time. Is there anything I should know before purchasing one? Downsides? Risks? Better adapters to purchase?
I've been running a 64gb micro SD as a storage drive for about a month. I have 3 games on it but have not played them much. However, I've played through a run on Tekken and encountered no problems. I use this usb adapter: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001JPPQS6?psc=1&redir...
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
