Andy from Bear Box Media here! Nintendo Life has been really supportive of our latest title Scribble, being the first to announce it through an exclusive article, and one of the first to give it a review, scoring it 7/10!
What is Scribble, you ask? It's based on the popular board game, Pictionary... but with a whole bunch of different modes and options given to the player, including 8 player support, 5 different game modes, loads of settings, and little things called Mutators that can really switch up the game.
BUT that's not what this post is all about! My message to all of you reading this now is...
"DON'T BUY IT JUST YET!!!"
Yes, that's an odd thing for a developer to ask users not to do, but the reason is simple!
TOMORROW (9th February), Scribble is getting a 10% discount. Sure the price is only $3.99 at the moment, so that'll only shave off around $0.50, but on top of that, everyone that owns Scribble gets a massive 50% off its big brother, U Host!
Also scoring a 7/10, U Host was described as "a robust little gem that makes excellent use of the GamePad, while championing an accessible party experience that can be adapted to fit almost any crowd".
This late into the Wii U's lifecycle, Scribble has been incredibly popular with its players and reviewers all over the world, so this is my way of thanking everyone who supported me over the years.
I'm a one man band over here at Bear Box Media, creating the graphics, music, code and of course designing everything... so it means so much when I get to see so many people having fun with my creations.
I see the Wii U as the kind of console we're unlikely to see again for a long, long time, so I'm personally going to keep hold of mine, but look forward to what the Switch is offering us.
