So I have had a Deluxe Zelda edition Wii U since last Christmas. I have played tons of games and like it very much. I finally got around to playing Rayman Legends, and on level 1 you get to a spot where you have to turn the gamepad like a steering wheel to turn a platform down. Nothing happens. Stuck on level one and cannot move forward. I have tested my gamepad with Mario Kart, and can steer a kart just fine. Same movement works fine when playing Nintendoland too. So what is the problem? I tested my game disc on another Wii U and they had no problems. I don't know what to do.

I called Nintendo support and they said that they will do a warranty repair. Will I get back the same zelda edition gamepad? Will they even be able to confirm that there is a problem and it is fixed, if the problem only pops up in Rayman?

I am inclined to just not play Rayman, but what if later down the road the problem pops up in another game, and my system is out of warranty?

Any ideas or advice? What should I do?

Maybe there's a problem with the game's motion calibration. Try contacting Ubisoft.

Making promise is easy. The hard part is keeping it.

Try to play the game again, reboot the game multiple times and see if that works. If not then go into the system setting and look at the game pads

Try to problem solve in the game. Most likely you are just missing something, like you have to just click on the eye in the middle
