Topic: Nintendo should be working with Suda 51 more!!!!

I'm a guy who loves all kinds of games but those quirky and niche Japanese games are my favorite kinds of games. I think Nintendo should be teaming up with good ol' Suda 51, epic Japanese developer, to create exclusive games. This would be a great way to diversify the Wii U's library... which is something Reggie said Nintendo plans to do. He said that in the IGN interview when he was asked why Nintendo saved Devil's Third.

Nintendo should be saving/developing other Japanese games for Wii U....

Both Japanese games are from Japanese companies. I say, Nintendo should team up with Suda 51 to get another awesome Japanese action game for Wii U!

I think the Wii U's destiny is the best place for Nintendo's high quality first party games and quirky Japanese games!

Isn't this what is happening? It is why Wii U has the best quality library so far.

from what i understand suda is not interested but if they throw the right size paycheck his way who knows?

Currently Suda 51 is working on a PS4 exclusive about a surprisingly generic looking zombie game. That Lily Bergamo game go scrapped for another zombie game.

So my minions are going to be in a generic looking game?...dang.

I'm not trashing the game because its on PS4. I actually want a PS4 and I think its a cool console. Its just the gameplay they've showed so far for the game just looks so generic and not Suda 51's unique style.

Suda 51's games are mediocre at best (usually bad), and now as you can see he's pretty much completely out of ideas.

I disagree... Killer is Dead, Lollipop Chainsaw and some others are some really great action games with personality! I think he's making zombie game because he thinks he can work with it but it looks bad!

I LOVE most of his work (though his recent games hasn't been of the same quality as his older stuff IMO)

I'd love it if Nintendo got a exclusive deal with the guy for No More Heroes 3! That game needs to happen. It is too good of a series to just leave behind.

Sarcasm OHHHH you think you're funny, huh? Just because I'm a fan of Suda 51 doesn't mean I can't spot problems or see flaws. So far the gameplay shown for that zombie game for PS4 just looks so generic to me and not Suda 51's usual epic style!

Not really that complicated. Suda51 has made what like a dozen games that Blast enjoyed, but his most recent one doesn't look appealing to him.

I see it now...

Suda51's games were great on the NGC/Wii, but after he switched to PS/Xbox systems they seem to have lost some of their 'magic'. They went from being rough but cool and quirky to just plain rough.

NMH3 for Wii U could get him back on track but I doubt it'll happen.
