Is the next nintendo game mario kart, which is coming in may.Does that mean more than 2 months with no nintendo game? And is there really something else that is coming in march or april from another publisher?
Unless Nintendo has a surprise up it's sleeve then yeah, nothing 1st party till Mario Kart 8. There's a couple Lego games and maybe Watch dogs from third parties.
Hopefully they'll have a Nintendo Direct to announce a game for that gap. Or maybe just put in Hyrule Warriors in the gap. Or another Luigi game to end of year of Luigi(it was announced February so it will end February.).
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - 21 Febuary
Yoshi's New Island - 14 March
Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright - 28 March [UK/EU]
Mario Kart 8 - TBA May
Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

There is also Layton 6 coming for those in the US, as well as Bravely Default.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kirby snuck his way over West before May is over though.

This being in the Wii U forum, I assume he means no games for that console between Tropical Freeze and Mario Kart 8.
So yes, no plans as of now. And they've failed to keep and attract third party developers. However, I am /still/ sure that the Wii U will turn around! : D
For the Wii U, there's currently a gap between the two releases. I'm pretty sure there's some lego title(s), Amazing Spiderman 2 and some other things I can't think of right now.
I'm anticipating a Nintendo Direct that will either place Hyrule Warriors or another game in there somewhere. Nintendo can only really depend on itself right now, and I think they've realized that.
First party the only thing we know about that could be out during that period would be whatever "Yarn Yoshi" turns out to be. Anything bigger than that we'd probably know about already. I don't think that's particularly bad for this part of the year though. Last year it didn't get any first party games of that calibre during that period, the 3DS killed it with three/four depending on if you count Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and the port of DKCR. So two isn't bad.
Actually going back to the Wii during that second year it was about the same as the Wii U is going to be this year. Difference was instead of Mario Kart and Donkey Kong it was Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Wii Fit. The other difference was that it had less heavy hitting third party support than the Wii U did by that stage. The Wii U is probably getting Watch Dogs mid-year, the Wii got Boom Blox. Don't think it's really equivalent....

I am not going to try to beat this Donkey in a day or two, I am going to milk this Donkey until the MArio Kart comes out. I am currently milking 3D world.
Well, I know they may be only glitches and they are not reallistic at all, but as far as I know a couple of retailers have Bayonetta listed as a May release as well, Newegg has 05/16/14 as the release date. Seems highly unlikely to me, since there's really no promotion whatsoever for that title and lets be honest... Why would they release Bayonetta 2 in the same month as Mario Kart 8?

Well March I'm personally excited for Shovel Knight, but that's not really made by Nintendo. I'd like some kind of surprise in March or April or better yet both. Kind of like how they just dumped NES Remix on us, that was kind of hilarious.

It is bad though when Nintendo has no one else making games for its console.
Thats not true. There are lots of basement developers putting out $9 games on the eShop! If those titles don't justify spending $300 on a Wii-U, I don't know what does.
Come to think of it, this is actually a very big problem that needs to be addressed as soon as possible in a Nintendo Direct. I do have plenty of games from Christmas that I would like to 100% and I might get Dr. Luigi too, so at least that'll keep me busy.
