Topic: Need major AC3 help...

I'm at the first part off my first mission in Boston where you attack a fort, and you have to shoot some gunpowder to blow up a wall. I've spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to select and shoot my gun, but I'm stumped. I realize how stupid this is, but I'm new to games, sorry. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks.

don't have the game so can't help but if no one answers you here, try asking the same question on miiverse. They're usually pretty quick to help there

First off, make sure you have a firearm selected (press and hold the L shoulder button until the wheel comes up, and select the gun with the left stick). Once the gun is selected and you're on a valid target(gunpowder), press the X button to shoot.

It's not your fault, the whole weapon system in this game(and a lot more) is confusing and idiotic.

I think I see see what the problem is, I only have one gun one my right side, it's listed on the wheel on the right, under tools and right holster. Using the left stick, it won't allow me to select it. I thought I bought 2 guns. Do I have to restart?
