People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@Tamara Thanks for the review and I'm glad you liked it! As for the falls in the second room, I didn't intend for anyone to go down them - you can make it across without going down if you plan your jumps right. I did it that way so if you fell down the first and died, you'd think the same would happen for the second.. so when you realize you're stuck in the second, panic sets in, and then look - a secret escape route!

The Thwomps are tough, but can be conquered by jumping on the nearest donut ring and running through as soon as they lift. And as for the piranha plants stage - a secret is to carefully jump to the left and grab one of those power up stars, and use the vine to jump back to the top! Then you can speed through it. And the very last part to get out requires critical thinking and being able to remember what it was in the first room that you needed.

Hehe, and I'm not sure if you noticed for the "game show" room, but the platform that took you there is on a route that creates 3 - that's your hint that its the 3rd pblock you hit.

... yea, I put too much time and thought into it XD But I agree, it is hard, especially without check points... I think it took me like 30 minutes to try and clear so I could upload! xP Thank you again for the review and I love that you mentioned it was like a fun horror house - pretty much the vibe I was going for!

@ChelsAngel: with that part of the level you need speed & I'm pretty sure if you press A a bit harder Mario/Bowser Jr jumps a little bit higher. I can make it easily.

If you are supposed to run and jump where the pipe part is then idk. I tried several times and wouldn't work for me. It most likely is just me though, idk why but I can't ever make really far jumps like leap of faith stages. I press down hard on the button, run to the very edge etc and I just always miss it ._.

I just had an awesome idea for a level. I will be making it later this week but I expect it will take all day or a few days. Hope some people will try it once I complete it =o

Here is my latest level. It's fairly challenging if I say so myself. It got a lot of jumps that must be done by using the star power. Also the timer on the level is short, so there is little time to mess up.

I would love it if you guys tried it out and gave me some feedback!

@Captain05crunch I played 2 of your levels. Secret valley was pretty fun I must of missed the underground part entirely judging by screenshot. I took the vine and just crossed along the clouds. Was fun gave it a star. Mushroom Jungle, The scenery was beautiful and I love how you made it all. I did end up dying and giving up at the block part on the running line but overall I enjoyed the level. Not sure if I was supposed to spin jump up top or what, I probably would of figured it out if I spent more time on it One of the prettiest eye catching levels I have ever seen.

Thanks for playing my courses! Secret Valley has a bunch of different paths to take. Maybe I shouldn't have made the clouds so long, but there are 3 different underground sections. Two of them contain secret exits.

I'm not exactly sure what section of Mushroom Jungle you're referring to. It may be the part where you're intended to use Yoshi to jump on the Piranha plants heads? There is a question mark button in the block up top. It's a little tricky to get past but you can go back up if you don't make it in time. Thanks for the kind words on the scenery! As you can imagine I spent a long time putting all that together...

@DanoLefourbe: I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Be sure to look around. Don't just take the easy path!

Anyway, I was wondering something. When I make a level I tend to put enemies and platforms in such a way that you can speedrun it if you find the right path and timing, and I usually put 2 or 3 ways to do it. Am I the only one that does this? It's really time consuming but it's worth every minute.

Like this, anyone?

You can still play it normally and it's fun

I've been under the weather that past few days. Was so bad I didn't even turn on my Wii U yesterday.

Tonight when I get home from work, I'll be playing more of the levels designed by you guys. And delving deeper into some of the ones I've already tried but haven't beaten yet.

As I said before, well done everyone! The creativity coming out of this forum is amazing!

General Question:
What do you think/want from a Mario Maker DLC package? If they release them every few months?
My wishlist:

Ability to alter physics like how high mario can jump. Also, adding items and tilesets from Metroid(NES) as well as other platforming games world would be nice.
