Here is my newest level! Took me almost a week of building, tweaking, and testing to get it just right.

NSMB: 9 Rooms, 9 Doors, 9 Lives (Medium)

Bowser has trapped Mario in a dungeon for a test of his skill. Pass all 9 rooms before time runs out! (1ups in all 9 rooms)

It's my tribute to the game 999. Bowser has trapped Mario in a dungeon to test his skills. Can you get through all 9 rooms before time runs out? Careful with your jumping! Some rooms have no floors, and if you fall, you'll have to start back at the beginning. (Once you get to room 6, you'll only be sent back to room 6.) Also, there are 9 1up mushrooms, 1 in each room. (Hence the name of the level.)

Special thanks to my Quality Control Tester who helped me tweak the level so that you didn't get frustrated and wanted to rage quit or throw the gamepad across the room.

(Edit: There was an earlier version, but it has been deleted, and this has been edited to replace it removing the secrets at the end of each level.)

No worries. I know it's not for everyone. Wish we could have a checkpoint system. Maybe a future update. If you make it to level 6, that is like a checkpoint... unless you die.

There are no items on line 6. It's for you to use with customize.

Ok, thanks! But it feels like I'm missing stuff, like autoscrolling levels, sub-worlds etc.

@linkus : auto-scrolling and sub-worlds are part of the last unlock. use all your objects and keep building levels for a little while and they will arrive

If you have them, here's how you use them:
Sub worlds, drag Mario onto a pipe.
Autoscroll, press the 500 button next to the coursebot logo.

To embed, you must copy in the link to your course, not the "embed" one.
It should look like this: https://www.nintendolife.com/super-mario-maker/levels/34EA-000...
But then you must have a full empty line above and below the link.

I made a new stage...

the theme is, the Koopalings and Bowser Jr have had it and kidnapped Yoshi. Bowser Jr. is keeping him hostage at the end of the stage. He's locked in a cage and it's up to you to save him.

I couldn't get past the Boos in the very beginning. I got past the first two circles of them but having to start over is kind of frustrating.

Here is an easy yet fun Mario Kart course!

Enjoy a fast drive around the Mushroom Kingdoom. You barely have to do anything. The course has been engineered to do most of it for you. You'll see as you play.

Personally I quite like the "raw stream" of the 100 Mario Challenge. You're far more likely to be a fair judge of a level if you don't go into it knowing who made it, how many stars they've got and so on. And I think that over time the system does reward people who make better levels. I think I've already seen a slow improvement in the quality of levels being produced.
