It doesn't appear anyone even bothered to check out the stages I posted a few day back. Not a single rating, or like, or comment, or even a simple acknowledgement that they were posted here. I'd love some feedback...
I don't want to spoil it but it involves Larry and Bowser Jr. working together to kidnap Yoshi. The entire level will be Larry themed and you will see a large, detailed face of his in the over world but the final battle involves you saving Yoshi and going head to head with Junior. I think it's a cool course and I'll probably post it tomorrow.
You can only unlock 20 costumes with the 100 mario challenge's easy mode. I had read it was more, so I was really disappointed. The normal is twice as long and the hardmode has some really unfair terrible levels to skip, although it also has more good levels than you get on easy.

I was finsly able to make my dream course! Allmoste. It has a few problems I was unable to fix. The springs might sometimes be unreaable and send the shell the wrong way -.- sorry for that.

Now that I shilled my own levels again (went for the Mick Foley cheap pop), I spent some of my weekend playing other peoples levels from NL, The levels get posted so fast (and furious) that its hard to play them all, or find them all. I did my best to get some in before splatfest and look forward to more and getting more in today and in general.
Was curious for the sake of discussion whats your most hated troll move you have come across playing levels and what kind of cheap tricks have gotten under your skin?
I would say mine is the Thomp out of nowhere. The offscreen Thomp that kills you without warning. Hate that and really annoys me to see. The other thing I am not fond of are doors leading to instant death. I love some of the levels that use math or other hints to guide your path. But I hate getting through a level that gives you doors and 3/4 end up in bottomless pits.
One thing I am not sick of yet is auto levels. Only when they work. Test them 100 times or more cause I have seen some that the random nature makes them not work. When done right I still enjoy them I will say that the constant use of sound effects and screen effects get boring after a while in them. I would love to see a "less is more" auto level that is just a good level without all the fluff.
Anyone else sick of these Kaizo Mario World clones? I'm seeing more levels with dead ends you can't escape from or pick two pipes, one kills you. Or the levels that are all a series of perfect timed jumps of trial and error.
Makes the Mario 100 challenge levels such a chore. There's 16 on medium and it feels like a marathon of bad ideas. Easy levels just seem to be one game mechanic level that falls flat.
The game is getting tedious the more people upload lol

I read somewhere in the comments of a 100 Mario Challenge video, from a guy who doesn't own the game, that it looks boring and tedious... And I only replied to it that this is the 100 Mario Challenge he's watching, he can't expect good levels there.
So I technically I said it first.
Anyway.. We have to rely on shared levels. Good levels are just too rare in the Challenge.
Good to know people are building and posting diligently on this forum.
@SuperWiiU: On top of that expert only gives you one amiibo costume as well. I put a lot of effort trying to beat expert to see if I could get more than one amiibo costume at once and only got one. -_- So that means it's always 1 amiibo per 16 courses, and it's just lame.
@OneBagTravel: It's times like those where I wish there was a down-vote button (although don't get me wrong I know why there isn't one).
I'd also really like to know what levels make the cutoff for easy, normal, and expert, respectively. Nintendo should of at least told us what category our level falls into, or is there a way to do that already?

I remade the first level of the original Yoshi's Island! Make sure to play it with the comments turned on!

I filled it with flowers to make it similar to the ground in the original. Shy Guys are replaced with Koopa Troopas because they can stay in place better than Goombas and can be spat out. There are lots of Yoshi Eggs to make sure the player always has Yoshi, and I replaced Chomp Rocks with stars to simulate "bowling over your enemies". The staircase created by throwing an egg at a ? cloud has been replaced by a P-Switch and Blocks, but even if you collect the coins you should still be able to get up by jumping off Yoshi. The five flowers have been replaced by 1-Ups.
Also, I'm looking for feedback on this level. I didn't intend for it to be too difficult but it has a low clear rate of 5%. How could it be improved?

I might take down Mario's costume party and fix it up some before re uploading. It seems a bit too hard and death is inevitable at a few parts. It doesn't matter because you pick a costume up right after the death but I dislike levels like this. I feel people should be able to complete the level from start to finish without losing a power up. I tried one part several times and found it impossible to escape death. Even though the level can be completed easily I think some tweaking is needed....

I played your level and it was fun. I died a few times, but that was mostly my own fault. I did almost get killed in one of the Ghost sections because Bowser jumped in a nearby room and I couldn't move for a few seconds.
