How is buying the bundle going to work? Will I be able to buy them before one of them comes out (like a pre-order) or do we have to wait for both to be out before the discount happens?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I'd assume that once the first dlc is released you will be charged for both and the transaction will be finalized. Then you'll receive the second one automatically after it releases.
After both are available, I guess you will just be able to buy both at the same time for the special price or buy them separately, like Nintendo usually does with multiple DLC packs.
If you Advance Purchase I think you pay up front and then wait till the packs are released. To show you are an early adopter you get the yoshi's and shy guys right not. At least that's what i gather from it.

I think you'll be able to "pre-order" both by tomorrow..? Today? Whenever that update comes out, and then it'll download and install itself to the game when they're actually released.

I just bought them, when I'm in store it says that the packs are available when they get released. The character screen got updated, when choosing either Yoshi's or Shy Guy you can pick color with the other character added in a row below the koopalings. The Cars and wheel just got added in the kart customization screen between carts and motors

Nice. I didn't know we got tires with the Mercedes pack. I look forward to using all the different colored Yoshis. I always wanted that in previous MK games.
Also, you can use the same characters now in local multiplayer.

Actually, I think you could do that before. Don't have the game but saw a video of 4 guys all playing Latiku locally.

But seriously though, I'm a little upset over the DLC. No Captain Toad, E. Gadd or Diddy Kong?
Plus Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach? What? That means we have 4 clones of the two. Baby, Normal, Metal and Powerup.
What about Nabbit and Birdo? There are so many Mario characters, I really wonder why they choose to use some multiple times in favour of more diverse characters.
