I thought it was great but can sb explain why NA has fewer free games to choose from than europe? What's the reasoning behind that? (I'm from europe so I dont care but still.. kinda weird:P)
I's guess its because the Wii U is doing the worst in europe and the system is being phased out of shelf and getting deep discounts.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
Anybody else notice Audrey Drakes voice at the 22:00 mark during the US Direct? She use to be the main IGN reviewer for all things Nintendo for a few years until she left sometime in 2013, kinda a Nintendo fan fav at IGN.......I suppose she is working for NOA these days.

What is the treehouse? Like NOA marketing? The current IGN Nintendo podcasts are pretty decent, I like the old German guy.

Anyways I hope they use the Youtube feature in their future games, was surprised to hear about this in this direct.

I always thought they were like the Super Mario 64 club. Just a group of hired employees to play-test and localize games?

The Treehouse is the Product Development division for Nintendo of America.

Wait, the NA division actually makes their own games? I thought they just localized games made from the japan division, lol.
Nope. They localize games for North America and produce marketing strategies. They also help with fine tuning the games, but aside from that, no game development.
EDIT: Things do change over time, though, as was proved a couple posts later.

That's what I thought until yesterday when they said how members of Nintendo Treehouse will be at E3 presenting the brand new games that they've been working on.

Wrong guess, try again.
Because Nintendo of America likes to screw their customers?
