QUESTION: I thought Mirror Mode was Finish to Start, instead of Start to finish as usual. But is it actually mirrored the other way? Instead of turning right at that point, this time you have to turn left?
Uhhh... since when has this ever been the case? It's always been flipped over the Y-axis. I can't recall a single time where you actually went the opposite direction through the course.
Is it possible to get kicked for not moving? I was racing online with my brother the other night and at one point he was so far behind when everyone else including me were approaching the finish line, so he gave up and stopped dead in his tracks. Ten seconds later we got a connection error and were booted out of the race. I was pissed 'cause I had a good chance of landing first place.
Yep, had that happen to me a number of times. Sometimes I just need to set the controller down and do other thing and when I come back 2 mins later I'm already kicked. That's mot a bad thing though as more then likely I'll never catch up. Even 10 secs is a death sentence.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I know it's odd to have real world stuff in Mario games, but I'm honestly cool with there being this one car as DLC. Always happy for more content. This game is really a gem already, but I hope this means more DLC could be on the way as well.

I know this is a bad comment and I should feel bad but I have never been bored quicker from a video game then with Mario Kart 8.
I've been seeing this, and I don't think it's the game's fault. I think some people are just getting burnt out on these games.
However, Nintendo could have added some things to extend the longevity of the game.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

I've not been playing it loads (have about 2400 points) so I'm not burnt out yet myself though I'm seeing players with 6000 points and can only imagine how many hours they've played at this point.

It depends what kind of opponents you get. If the lobby got averagely more points than you, you will get lots of points even on lower places. (Or rather. The better the opponents, the more points you get.)
It's not really hard getting 6000 points if you meet the right people. lol
That music interview was great. I can't tell you how many times I've watched the live performance video from the Nintendo Direct a while back... I wish they video taped more of those recording sessions. I'll purchase the soundtrack the moment it becomes available, but to be able to watch even MORE footage of those wonderful musicians playing would be awesome!!!
