Oh god, I remember inviting my friends over and we would play KAR non-stop, I loved that game, it was so much damn fun! I wouldn't mind if they just made a game with just a few added things from the last one. KAR is one of my most remembered games of all time, up there with pokemon, battlefront 1 and 2 and did I mention Pokemon?

Lol, if you want a hard game play Touhou, I enjoy playing easy games after a few hours on that.

I never said I wanted a hard game. I'm just saying that Kirby games are so easy they're simply boring. I like my platformers easy, so a game actually has to try extremely hard for it to be so easy that it's no longer fun for me. Kirby makes it look easy.
I dunno, I found Kirby Superstar great with all the variety and thought the Hard Mode in Return To Dream Land quite awesome. But then, they are my favorite Kirby games.

Maybe, when Sakurai is done with Super Smash Bros. 4 he will start with another Kirby game.

YES! I have been waiting for a sequel for a LOONG time. I still play City Trial with my siblings to this day. I want a sequel so bad, I've convinced myself that, one day, Nintendo will release a sequel... One... day...
City Trial truly was fun to play with others on. And I think it shows from all the responses here. Sadly, I don't think we'd ever see a sequel to that. Personally, when he is done with Smash Bros 4 (if he doesn't go crazy or quit or something by the way he talks sometimes) I'd like to see more Kid Icarus than anything

kirby is my favorite game(except those spin-offs from lately. the epic yarn and the mass attack would have been better as standalone games and not kirby ones). and kirby air ride was great they should make a new one with focus on a free roaming chaotic mode like the city trial but longer with more maps or a really huge one maybe even a story mode with the city trial gameplay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF they do ever make another Kirby Air Ride, I definitely hope they would expand City Trial, but I also would hope that they work on the actually racing mechanics, the main mode of the game! It didn't see very fair/balanced, and it's almost impossible to catch up once you fall behind. Mario Kart does a better job at keeping the last place players close to the rest of the group. Also, get rid of Meta Knight and DeDeDe...or at least balance them.
@PloXyZeRO or they could make city trial the main mode. most people spent more time in city trial than playing the main mode anyway....

I know this topic hasn't been touched upon for awhile, but I had this amazing dream that they had a sequel for Kirby Air Ride called "Kirby Air Ride: Cruisin' Clouds!" The name just feels so...Kirby. Afterwards, I dreamed of a city event called "Thunderstorm" in which the road was too slippery to charge. I don't know how I could dream something so close to realistic...
