Any news about the new International Age Rating System and when it's coming into effect? I want to see a flood of US games coming to the EU eShop and equal chances for indies to release their PAL (EU) versions, so that they can make their games available in Oceania and Germany too.

Last weeks Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures wasn't released in Germany (and likely not in Australia and New Zealand either), and before that there were a other games with the same fate. Personally, I'd love to pick up 1001 Spikes. It was disappointing that after the long wait for a EU release, it's still not available in Germany. I'd also love to buy games like Life of Pixel, Canvaleon, and Star Sky, especially now that they are on sale for 50% off. Heck, I'd even bought Stone Shire for that 1€.

I'll admit the universal rating system is a good start

@SKTTR: if I remember correctly, you managed to play Master Reboot via a promo code, even if it wasn't available in Germany. Couldn't you email the developers and ask them to sell you a promo code for the current eShop price of the game?!
It should work I guess, especially with smaller european studios like the ones that made Canvaleon and Life of Pixel.

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

The easiest way would be a third NNID account for Austria because they have the same currency and eShop cards as Germany.
(My second account is a UK NNID, which I thought would function as well but it doesn't because it's using £ instead of €.)
I got some codes from games that are not available in Germany, like Master Reboot, Gravity Badgers, Ittle Dew, Roving Rogue, Word Party, and Paper Monsters Recut. As long as it's free I can download it from the UK eShop.

Plus, I'm afraid to lose games I bought from a different region or with a NNID if there's a software transfer to NX.
On WiiWare I lost Toribash in the transfer to Wii U because I downloaded it from a different region.
