Topic: First Wii U Game review

So one of the first Wii U Game reviews is up and well it's not a promising start
Ninja Gaiden 3 by IGN

Muddy Visuals with some jaggy edges and graphics that are not as good as the xbox 360 or ps3
and the game is played better with the pro controller

Opinions?

I probably won't end up getting Ninja Gaiden and its sad that it has mediocre visuals but its nice to see IGN acknowledging Wii U as a "core gamer's platform"
Edit: Wow this game for Wii U seems much better, I just read that it went from a 3.0 review on other platforms to a 7.6.

Did I understand the review wrong as I thought he said it looks as good as the other versions?
(EDIT: I just READ the review. He did say there it's uglier. Before, I only watched the video and understood it wrong.)

Also, he said it's definitely the best version of Ninja Gaiden 3 as it's more than just a port.
There is also a Side Mission podcast on Gametrailers where Shane mentioned he was pleasantly surprised by it.

By the way, IGN now has reviews for Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U too. Both games got good reviews. I'm really interested in Mario's Challenge Mode. Shane of Gametrailers wasn't much into Mario although he said that people had much fun playing the Multiplayer mode (Shane tried only the Single Player mode). He liked Nintendo Land, and has been so far liking WiiU.

It's IGN guys. They aren't the best minds in the biz. Far too blinkered and opinionated.
It's a wonder they still review Nintendo products.

Watching this IGN video you can see that the 3 guys on the left are not big fans of of the Wii U but the guy on the right does his best to defend it

Good to see Super Mario Bros U Getting 9.1

Looking forward to Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge despite whatever IGN says.

I'm keeping this on my Christmas list. I don't really care what IGN thinks anyways.

IGN is a bunch of PS360 fanboys. I don't hate PS360, but I think they need to be well rounded in order for us to think their reviews are 100% honest.

If they were saying positive things about the game I'd get you guys would care what IGN was saying.

Because this is IGN we're talking about, so when they say something good about a nintendo game, that must mean that it's REALLY GOOD.

I'm more interested in the sonic all star racing transformed review. The PS3 version got a 8.6, so it definitely got my eye. Hopefully the Wii u version will be better.

I agree. Transformed is looking to be an excellent racing game. Plus, it has Sonic in it.

Skip ME3 on the Wii U and just get the Mass Effect Trilogy on 360/PC/PS3.

It's the same price anyway.
