What has happened to fast racing Neo has it been cancelled now, it's been quiet since forever

Is this a Matrix racing game?

If not, I am disappointed.

Shin'en said they get one chance to show the game off for the first time, one chance to make an impact. They want the game to be the best it can be at this time.

I'm really looking forward to this, for being such a small developer, Shin'en usually impresses on the technical level, even compared to some of the larger publishers.

Agree... I just hope they will find some mechanism which help the game to avoid being a MK clone

They recently stated that they are issuing some screenshots come September. I have high hopes for the racer. But please, don't make it as hard as Nano Assault Neo!!

Isn't it more likely to be a Wipeout/F-Zero clone though?

It looks great. Nintendo should really sign Shin'en up because even though they've generally worked on Nintendo platforms they are too talented to let slip away.

I'm hoping Art Of Balance HD releases today. That and FRN are my most wanted eShop games.

Yeah, they said they like being indies and not being told what to make. TBH if they are happy with the things way are and keep releasing on Ninty platforms I don't see a problem, I would of liked to see that rumour being true of Fast Racing Neo being canned so they can make a new F-Zero though.

I have been talking to Shin'en on Twitter about the game, and they say they are currently working on the menus and game progress. The game is near completion, maybe January 2015.

Wow, that was a nice surprise! I was expecting a summer 2015 release, or something similar. And if Shin'en says something like January 2015, I personally believe that release window more than if any random new Wii U developer had said it.

Sorry, guys. No release date at the moment. But what I can tell is that the game will look and play great.
