Topic: Download to Flash Drive then Move to Wii U?

Hi,

I am new to Wii U and my goal is to play games without buying a bunch of discs. I want them all digital. I came across something called Homebrew and it appears that is how I accomplish my goal. My question is can I download games to a USB Flash Drive on a computer, then use that to put them on the Wii U? Everyone seems to mention using SD cards, but I have no clue if I can instead use flash drive?

@wiiujunkie The eshop will sort you out, and you'll feel much better about your collection and committed to playing the games if you actually pay for them.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

While we do allow for the discussion of modding in the context of past consoles (WiiU is now retired), I feel this particular discussion falls into that dubious gray area, with you admitting you want to pirate games and stuff.

I'd recommend looking for help elsewhere, since we aren't really comfortable with this kind of tutorial/advice in the forums.
