@MERG So far I'm having good fun. I've encountered no bugs as of yet so I'm hoping this game has less then the U version. The game also saves frequently enough that's it's not that big of a deal. I like the quirky humor and sarcasm.

I am guessing both versions are pretty solid and the bugs that have been found are either minor or hard to find. If people are interested in the game then don't let those bugs stop you. I was on the fence about this game (I haven't played Earthbound yet) so these bugs are just telling me it is ok to wait.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@Tech...thanks for the heads up. If you like, it is almost certain that I will like it too.

No, they're unacceptably common and some like the seizure inducing bakery graphical glitch has a 100% chance of occurring on the Wii U version of the game. That said it does seem that the 3DS version "which I don't have myself" is far less buggy and if at all possible you should choose that version to download if you don't want to wait around for the game to "possibly" be patched.

The game has froze a good half a dozen times on me, I've run across the can't attack during battle glitch twice, and the can't move after opening a gift box glitch once in under 8 hours of playing the game.

Well I am still good with waiting for a patch

Anyone know if the Playstation 4 version is buggy like the Wii U version? I would like to check this game out but not if its a complete mess.
I hear there's a demo if you would like to try it. Personally I haven't heard anything. If the 2 Nintendo versions are any indication then there is a good chance it will as well.

That's a shame think I will wait on this game then.

I think the discount is more for it being so late. This was supposed to be out in November. I would also hope they wouldn't knowingly release this game with so many bugs. Atlus is usually pretty good about this.

How long is the discount? Maybe it would be smart to buy now and then wait for a patch
