@Tasuki It has the same basic gameplay, free flow combat, stealth, and stuff so how would you not call it Arkham game. A new developer and some new voice actors don't warrant a series change by themselves. It also is part of the Arkham story too. A lot series transistions to new devs have worked out pretty well recently too.
I am going to have to remember that when people start whining about Star Wars Episode VII.

I'm just curious about why this decision would be made, because I don't buy the youth reason for one second. Have people seen the pics? This is an adult Batman, and the timeline isn't that far from Arkham Asylum. I've heard names such as Greenwood come up from people as a possible replacement, but he's as old as Conroy, so what's the point in that?
When things don't add up, there's something more to the story.
Warner Bros have confirmed multiplayer for Arkham Origins... however it will not be avaliable in the Wii U version.. All other versions will have it though.
I personally don't care about playing with strangers over the Internet, but many, many people do. Bad move WB!
"Good. Everyone's together. Pyrrhon loves a party." "...It's funny because marriage is terrible!" If you know the origin of both of those quotes, then you're awesome! Songs are like hugs that mouths give to ears. Dreams are easy to achieve if hope is all...
@Tasuki I'm betting the whole game will be a (or a series of) flashback(s), narrated by old Batman.

That's like setting up a party and, before sending invitations, noticing that there's no one there so you decide to call off the party.
It's getting completely pathetic how these developers are having to scrounge up some imaginary crap in-order to cut corners on the Wii U port. Also so they can sell us a gimped version for full price because "dem Nintendo fans've never hurd of such a thing as 'Online Multiplayer' anyhow".
Developers want the console to sell, they want to bring there products to Nintendo.... But insist on making/porting half arsed games. This has no online, Sniper Elite V2 didn't have online, we don't get CoD DLC, maybe if the Wii U was treated with respect and equal it may entice people to buy it.
Ive cancelled my XB1 pre order to use the money to support the Wii U and use that £400 to get games and accessories for this that i would like. I would rather plow my money into Nintendos console and support something ive been with since Day One!
I'm not sure how I feel about this lack of online multiplayer. On the one hand, I don't want to support gimped ports, but on the other hand, I feel like if I don't then they'll just stop giving us the games at all. It's a lose-lose situation for Nintendo gamers. It makes no sense and it's bad.
For me, it's more about whether or not to accept incomplete ports. Black Ops 2 lacked DLC and now Arkham Origins will lack online multiplayer. Do we just go along with it or boycott it at the risk of losing support entirely? It's a no-win situation.

solution: get Rayman Legends instead.
I will say that while this decision is probably stupid if WB wants their games to actually sell on Wii U, I could not care less about this particular online mode. "Hey you know what Arkham City needed? Online multiplayer!" - no one ever

fine by me, i would never be using the multiplayer anyway why every company feels that their games need a tacked on multiplayer mode is beyond me if the singel player is good then people will continue to play the game, online multiplayer is just a way of increasing the life of a poor game (look at CoD if it wasn't for the multiplayer who would buy it))

Yeah!.
It seems like it is a case where a different party is making the multiplayer, and that party has no idea what Wii U is, so it can't even technically suddenly make a Wii U version. It's basically a different game tacked on to the single player. I agree that Wii U should be cheaper, although I don't hear that other versions have Off-TV play for example. I just wish there wouldn't be such negative reactions and disappointment over everything. Even if the games are priced the same, after a few months, you could buy the game for $30 or less. Still worth it. Too much big deal people make of everything.
