Topic: Back Up Wii U SD Card?

I was wondering if I could back up the 32 gb SD card I use on my Wii U (not modded) on my PC hard drive. I have a bunch of old Wiiware and Wii virtual console games saved on it and since the eshop is closed, I would have no way to get those titles back if the SD card got corrupted. I was thinking I would copy the files from the SD card to a folder on my Windows 10 desktop using a standard card reader that is built into my PC. Thank you.

Short answer, yes. I regularly back-up the SD cards in my Wii, 3DS and Switch just in case there's a corruption of the card. Just copy all the data that is on the card to an empty folder.
