Topic: Anyone else still playing Mario Kart 8 like a fiend?!

I've been playing it alot, but I just got the game less than two weeks ago myself.

I got it at launch and I play it a ton. Every win is like I just won the Daytona 500, and I literally jump up and down and celebrate.

I've been playing a lot less because a new season just started in Starcraft 2....

Played it hard for maybe a week straight, but since then I've maybe put 8hrs into it. If there was online chat and I could trash talk online I would probably play more. Even though I know I am racing against other people, it still feels boring and lonely.

I've been playing it like crazy. I have a playtime of over 80h by now

Well I will not be playing it as much now that I have the Destiny Beta to play

I am kinda interested in Destiny but I already have Borderlands 1 & 2 (plus Destiny isn't coming to any system I own)

No, I haven't played it in a few weeks. After I got everything, I have had no reason to go back. Actually, I've enjoyed Pikmin 3 a lot more (the free game I chose), than the game I actually purchased. lol

I played through to get 3-star completion on 50cc and 100cc, then got all gold on 150cc. I don't think I've played it since.

I stopped playing probably a couple weeks after launch. Only tried online once and that was just racing with my brother (we live like a mile apart and both have pretty good internet) and we had all kinds of connection problems. I'll get back to it at some point to finish 150cc but I haven't really been playing my Wii U at all. Just picked up a Classic Controller Pro so I can finally play some of the games in the Wii Shop.. probably start with Paper Mario.

Got Gold in everything except for any of the Mirror Mode Cups. Also missing a lot of stamps still. But I've been playing the online like a maniac all week!

Yesterday I unlocked my final character (Pink Gold Peach) , but I am still missing two 100cc cups and all of 150cc.

I finished everything in the game 3 weeks after purchasing. Now, the only time I play it is when my online friends here at NL want to race.

I actually regret buying it. Im not much of a racer fan, but i wanted to see what the hype is about. To me, the game was too slow, get the unlockables was a chore, and everytime i go online, they instantly put me on spectating which got on my nerves to the point where i just stopped caring. I know people love this game a lot, so i won't talk bad about it anymore than what i said. To answer the question: no, i'm not still playing mk8

Just finished 3 stars in all Grand Prix last night....why the heck isn't it used for online bragging rights like in the past?

Now that I got 3 stars I will probably play it less like I did with 7....just do some time trials and play a little online here and there and hope some killer DLC comes out.

That makes no sense. Thats like saying well I am interested in Super Mario but I already own Rayman Origins and Legends.

I played it pretty hard core for about 2 weeks now Im pretty bored with it. After getting 3 stars on all the tracks there isn't much to do other than online. DLC would bring me back, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Playing the same tracks over and over gets old pretty quick.
