Topic: 3rd Party Wii U Pro Controllers

I wanting to pick up a Wii U Pro Controller. Just feels a better fit that the gamepad for my virtual console games.
Has anybody purchased any thrid party controllers before, as i am put off a little by Nintendo's model for something i see as a luxury rather than a neccesity. Some seriosuly cheap models on ebay from Hong Kong, but a little apprehensive about the quality.

I haven't tried any third party Pro controllers, but generally when it comes to controllers, you're better off with the official stuff. Sure, it's more expensive, but the quality is usually way better.

I have it on very good authority that the knock-off Wii U Pro Controllers are complete and utter garbage. The control sticks have really dodgy dead zone, the buttons are either spongy or unresponsive, and the build quality is cheap and the plastic brittle.

Just splash out the cash for an official doodad, treat it well ad it'll last as long as your Wii U, unlike the unofficial counterparts.
