3D Land for a quick Mario game.

Also, when does a Mario game get a price drop?? Very rarely. Same with most of Nintendo's other IP's.

Ok, do you always buy your games retail? As in, you go into a store and buy a game? Well, most of the time, I don't, not at full price. Like I said, Amazon. They have price drops on games. 3D World is $52 right now, better than the $60 MSRP.

While I haven't yet played 3D World cause I still need to get the Wii U at the right time, both these games are beautifully done so just saying 3D World is better than 3D Land is just plain rude. Sure its better but if it weren't for 3D Land, there wouldn't be 3D World.

Besides when 3D Land was underdeveloped, the earthquake affected the development period so I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for that horrible Tsunami, 3D Land would've been even better.

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

3D World is far better, just as a single player game. Take into account the multiplayer and it's getting into an order of magnitude... OK, so that's an exaggeration, but I loved 3D Land and 3D World simply stomped all over that. No doubt about it.

EDIT: To clarify: the levels are better, the challenge is higher, the mechanics are expanded, the power ups are cooler, the game is bigger, the music is neater, the replayability is greater, etc... And that's without taking multi into consideration.

I have no idea how no one has mentioned that 3D World has 5 characters who play different, as opposed to Mario and Luigi mostly playing the same in 3D Land. Just from trying each level with every character you get a ton of replay value on 3D World.

The Galaxy games are amazing too, so either choice is good.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
