@HammerGalladeBro No worries I thought you had a time machine or something. As for the topic disappearing. I think there's a glitch with the website. I had that happen last night with the PC thread, I thought someone deleted it.

My used windows xp gaming laptop for playing classic games arrived today with my favourite trading simulation game, Patrician II. Patrician II came with a big box, which were quite common for PC games at the time, plus map and a big manual. The expansion was also included, also with a manual.
I am very much looking forward to playing PC games again. Black & White is another game, which I want to replay.
@Jhena
Wait, how did you install Windows XP on modern laptop?
Is that even possible?
Also, with Windows XP, you might try classic PC games like The Sims 1 & 2.
@Jhena Unless you get a ship and travel the seas you ain't going to be able to play Black & White sadly.
@Anti-Matter You dont need an Old laptop for Sims 1 and 2 they are available on Steam. EA released them a year ago and made it so they can run on current PCs. The only one that cant run on current PCs is Sims 3 and thats only if you dont downgrade Direct X.

This was like my fourth time trying to get the game since when I agreed a local purchase the past times, the sellers never showed up. I really don't know why, but I feel maybe the powers that be don't want me to play this game again. I rented it back when it came out but never truly owned it.
Think I'm gonna play it until I finish Shadow The Hedgehog. Though of course I'll pop it up to check if it works on my system.
