hopefully you choose the court option.

@ogo79 speaks the truth. As always.
However, @Tasuki you get a pass this time since you did pick up both Streets of Rage 2 and the awesome WCW/nWo games.
But be careful, i don't want to have to send out those cease and desist letters!

Didn't you know I am a poster here on Nintendolife that automatically makes me a lawyer and no about how laws work, at least that's what I thought.
And yes I agree I finally got to see why those WCW games are so awesome however my freakin N64 cable stopped working and now I can't play them till I get another one.
I guess my cable couldn't handle the awesomeness

@Tasuki
Yes, i think there is documented evidence that the N64 WCW games contain so much awesome that most 64s can simply be destroyed. I'm pretty sure that's what caused my original 64 to go on the fritz.
Meanwhile, i recently picked up another batch of Imagic Atari games: Moonsweeper (blue label variant), Cosmic Ark (text label variant), Star Voyager and Trick Shot - I already had this version of Star Voyager, but the other three are adds to the Imagic collection (just 7 left to get, including the mythical Atlantis II).
.
Also picked up this little piece: R.O.B. lever-piece thingy for Gyromite-usage - back in the day, i used to play Gyromite a lot, using just this piece from the ROB set-up. You put in the controller and hit the levers with your foot — innovative gaming at its finest!
Unfortunately, my retro shop has been closed for a while now, and at least until the beginning of May. But the good news coming out of that is that they are relocating to a bigger space, and have been fully inventory-ing and cataloging everything they have, including the many bins of Atari games that i frequently root through. Looking forward to the opening of the new place in the coming weeks, which will surely result in an epic ShpydarhaulTM binge
My copy of Grandia II for the Dreamcast just showed up. Hopefully I'll get to it once I finish Grandia on the PSOne. I really should make an effort to finish that game, too. It should by all means be one of my favorite RPGs, but I can't seem to ever keep up with it...
2 more snes controllers

My latest retro purchase was a Sega Genesis Model 3 with three games. The three games were Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Eternal Champions. I found it at a flea market for a total of $40.
Especially since it'll be shirt only - NO PANTS ALLOWED!
its safe to say this isnt my first nightgown

Stopped in at my local retro game store and picked up
Top Gear for the SNES. I always enjoyed this game as a teenager this and Mario Kart were probably the two most played racers on the SNES for my friends and I.

Haven't posted in this thread for awhile, but I have gotten new retro classics every now and then (I'll also include ones I got on the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console, despite the fact that I don't know if they 100% count here). And with each game I'll just write short phrases, since I've surmised that the longer the post (or description) in a forum site the less likely people might read it in its entirety (or the longevity might scare them from reading it period), but then that might just be my impression about it. ... Anyway!
At the end of the March I got: The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey & Minnie (Genesis; despite already owning the SNES original) - perhaps not as vibrantly colorful as the Nintendo 16-bit classic and sporting a couple differences, the quality for each version is about on par regardless (in my case, really good).
Well, that's all for March; for April, I got: Final Fantasy III (SNES) - got as a birthday present, it's fantastic; after having played the zoomed-in poor-sounding GBA version of it years ago (and having stopped) I'm glad to be experiencing this classic as a better sounding, better looking, and better quality version of it. I hate to be that guy, but SFC/SNES to GBA transitions almost always lead to inferior products.
The night of my birthday I download on the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console (with points cards): Gargoyle's Quest II: The Demon Darkness (NES) - since I liked its Game Boy predecessor a lot, I decided to continue Firebrand's quest with this game. I've gotten pretty far, and it's pretty fun for the time being. Looks pretty for an 8-bit title too. Breath of Fire (SNES) - take everything I said about Final Fantasy III, only I actually beat the GBA version once and it's not as great as SquareSoft's RPG; that said, I do still like this game, despite its difficulty and the fact that the battle interface isn't as simple as in the sequel (or GBA version). Hey, I'll take slow-paced good sounding over fast-paced (since you can run in the handheld version) yet tinny sounding any day.
Next day: Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics (SNES) - got it as a belated birthday present. I found that lately Data East games (in general) have lost their charm and fun value for me (for reasons that are too longwinded to explain here), so I wondered if this effort by Data East would at least be refreshingly fun and interesting to play. It is, and I like the lighthearted charm and gameplay.
Seven days later, I downloaded two more games on the WiiUVC: Brawl Brothers (SNES) - I actually only downloaded it for the Japanese classic Rushing Beat Ran — Fukusei Toshi accessed by code (which I saved so I don't have to enter the code anymore, though I remember what it is if I need to use it again). The Japanese version is awesome and underrated in my book, but I eventually played the localized version out of morbid curiosity and... no. Just... no Wild Guns (SNES) - since I missed the opportunity during the Nintendo Wii VC days, I'm glad I got a chance to play it here. It's pretty neat, fast-paced action, and I like the futuristic Sci-Fi Punk Western setting. It's pretty challenging but fun. But as far Natsume classics are concerned, nothing tops the first Pocky & Rocky in my opinion.
A few days later I used the last of my WiiUVC points to download: Castlevania: Dracula X (SNES) - what do you get when Konami does not have permission to recreate the PC-Engine classic Akumajou Dracula X Chi no Rondo on the Nintendo 16-bit console but uses many of the character and enemy sprites and animations plus gameplay mechanics lifted from said classic? You get a game that is notDracula X, despite the American namesake. And it's... okay, I guess? shrugs Only beat it once so far with the worst ending, but perhaps it'll get better the more I play it, I don't know. ... Well, at least I played another Castlevania game.
This week I got two physical retro purchases: Paperboy 2 (SNES) - surprisingly not a bad sequel imo, and all things considered it's rather fun and manageable (so far the farthest I got to was Saturday); and the idea that there are two different directions to ride (and two paperkids to choose from) is cool. I'm not going to experiment all 10,000 routes, though. Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions (SNES) - haven't gotten a Looney Tunes game in a long time, so I figured why not play one starring Daffy Duck? After all, he was the final boss in both of Bugs Bunny's and Porky Pig's SNES games, so why not bring everything full circle (if that makes sense)? And... I have absolutely no idea what to think of it right now, and I haven't beaten it yet. ... Umm, DUCK DODGERS!
... That's all folks!
Just a quick pick-up, as the Atari Imagic collection grows closer to completion ...
Fathom and Quick Step - two of the somewhat slightly more rare Imagic games. Now i'm down to 5 Imagic games left, with Subterranea being the most rare and pricey one (not counting Atlantis II, of course) - a CIB copy recently went for well over $200.
Meanwhile, the retro shop has still not re-opened, but they did secure a new storefront location that's only 5 miles from my place (huzzah!) and are shooting for a Memorial Day weekend grand opening. I expect i'll end up dropping a lot of cash and having an epic Shpydarhaultm post thereafter!
