By Mario Game I mean the main series, i.e Mario Bros 1, 2 or 3, Super Mario World, Mario 64 etc (you get the idea) I'm curious to know if most peoples favourite Mario Game is one that they grew up playing or if you've been a fan for 30 years or more and prefer the newer Galaxy games for example. I'm 29 (soon to be 30) and I think my favourite will always be Super Mario World, i've completed it countless times over the years (all 96 levels) and it never gets boring. Dont get me wrong I love Mario 64 and Galaxy but SMW will always be a special game for me, mainly because the Super Nintendo was the first console the I owned.

Wait, you can do games that aren't platformers?
Then it would have to be Superstar Saga. It's my favorite game (and one of the first I ever played), except for perhaps Dragon Quest IX. Still can't decide!
Paper Mario is up there, definitely.

It's actually called Mario RPG: legend of the seven stars! Very funny and plays quickly.
It's hard to find the original cartridge, but i heard you can download them now on your wii
closest thing to is now paper mario (i have the n64 cartridge, boxed )
