@ogo79 Yeah I enjoy it. While there are much better beatemups out there from a gameplay perspective, I really like it's unique presentation.

Just picked Double Dragon VI on the PS4. Yes I know they call it Double Dragon IV but that's stupid Double Dragon IV is Super Double Dragon. That would be like me saying oh I don't like Star Wars Episode III so let's call Rogue One Episode III.

Anyway looking forward to playing this when I get home tonight. Been awhile since Bimmy and Jimmy hit the streets.

1. Double Dragon II.
2. TMNT Turtles in Time for SNES
3. Do any others matter?

Streets of Rage, Rampage (beatin' up buildings!) were also great

between being obsessed with double dragon and Van Damme movies (Bloodsport in particular), the 80s were absolutely filled with roundhouse kicks lol @OneBagTravel

Well, if they wanted it to follow Super Double Dragon, they've called it Super Double Dragon II and gave it Super NES graphics and features. Also, I think there were only 3 arcade iterations of Double Dragon. Think of it as a prequel following the NES iterations, but before Super Double Dragon. Plus, Double Dragon V is clearly non-canon, since the original dev just farmed it out to tradewest. Sure, that sounds silly now that none of the original devs were involved with this one, but its at least noteable when the original dev could've made it...they just didn't want to.

Speaking of Double Dragon, have you ever played Double Dragon Neon?

@CanisWolfred Yes I have, it's one of my favorite Double Dragons. Yeah the villain is a bit silly and some of the gimmicks as well but it's a solid beat 'em up.

As for Double Dragon VI I played a bit of it tonight and I love it!! It's a nice addition to the series and a great nod to the NES games. I will say that the controls feel a better then Double Dragon II and it's way easier to pull off the power moves. The addition of a jump button is a nice option (you can also press punch and kick at the same time like DD II) for the platforming sections which are no where near annoying like in Double Dragon II.

I am not sure how much it is on Steam but on PSN it's $6.99 which is a heck of a deal for this game.

I really enjoyed Ninja Warriors on the SNES.You can only move left and right and it seems a bit basic at first but once it gets going it's a lot of fun and has great graphics too with huge sprites. It's certainly not the best beat-em-up I've ever played but it's a great game non the less.

Can't say i'm a fan of the art style, but the gameplay looks good. I do like that it's the OG Power Rangers (which is the only incarnation i ever watched or enjoyed).

I would really like to see a new Sailor Moon brawler though. I do need to buy the Mega Drive game (i already have both SuperFami brawlers, as you know), i believe the MD version has a few cool tweaks to the gameplay.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.

It's not a genre I play a lot, but I like Turtles 2 and Double Dragon 2 on the NES (haven't played the other DD games), and Batman Returns on the SNES. I should probably try out the NES version of Batman Returns too, sometime.

3. Golden axe: revenge of death adder
4. Vendetta
5. TMNT: Turtles in time
6. Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mystara
7. X-men
8. Final fight 3
9. Battle Circuit
10. Warrior blade
