Topic: What’s your opinion on Yoshi?

Yoshi Yoshi!
Yoshi is my favourite videogame character ever, I think he is super cute, he’s also friendly, happy, fun loving and selfless which are good traits. I’ve always loved Yoshi, so much I even have my own Yoshlings (Yoshi soft toys) I do have other Mario soft toys, but no other character has achieved their own name haha. He is one of the nicest characters on all of Mario, he’s never been anything but kind

I prefer Toad🍄, my sister loves Yoshi.

I think he's a great character though apart from SMWorld, I've only ever played the GBA version of YIsland1.

You may hate me for this but I pronounce his name as "Yoss-shi" and not "Yo-shi"...

Yoshi's Island on the Snes was my first Yoshi game and my first Snes game. Ever since that game I love Yoshi. As you said, he is cute and friendly. Friendly alone is enough for a cool character.

He's a very good boy and I only want the best for him. I will die on the hill that Yoshi's Island is better than Mario World in every way and NONE OF YOU CAN STOP ME!

Also usually one of my go-to's in Mario Party as well.

Yoshi's one of the most friendliest green game creatures you'll find out there. 😉

One of my favorite characters. Some of my best memories are racing with my siblings to get the green one in Mario bros wii.

I don't dislike Yoshis; they're cute and charming in their own right and are quite useful in many of the games they appear in. However, I'm not fond of actually playing as them and prefer other characters.

Yoshi is awesome. You can ride on him in certain Mario games, and play as him in Mario Sports games.

Quite the charming dinosaur character. His overall "plushy" looks make him adorable and throwing eggs is quite neat as his source of offense.

I do wish he had more good games that aren't Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Woolly World (and in some cases, Yoshi's Story), though.

One of my favorite picks for leadoff batter in Mario Superstar Baseball. Also use him in MK 8 a bit. I would rather play Mario's games over his though.

If I had to pick my top 5 favorite Mario characters, I think Yoshi would be up there, but when I was a little kid Yoshi was DEFINITELY my favorite character. My and friend and I would play "Mariokart" on the playground in elementary school, and I ALWAYS ALWAYS had to be Yoshi. If my friend said he was going to be Yoshi, I would be seething!

The reason he was favorite character? One of the first Mario-related games I ever played was "Yoshi's New Island" on the 3DS. As soon as I tilted the Circle Pad, Yoshi became my favorite.

However, I can't currently say Yoshi's my favorite favorite character. Koops from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door or Diddy Kong would have to be my current favorite.

I've liked Yoshi since the very beginning. I remember being so excited for the Super Mario World cartoon to air to have Yoshi added to the cast of characters.

I'd also like to add that the original Yoshi's Island is one of the finest 2-D platformers out there, in my opinion.
