In the game Metroid Zero Mission, there are 50 Missile Tanks, 9 Power Bomb Tanks, 15 Super Missile Tanks, and 12 Energy Tanks (I think). I got the last Power Bomb Tank today, so I decided to make a 100% club!
REQUIREMENTS
-Must have 100% items (you don't have to get them all before beating Mecha Ridley)

If you have met the above requirement, you can join the club by replying to this post! Also, please specify which item was most difficult to get and why.

I'll start. Personally, the most frustrating item was in Chozodia, where you have to Shinespark in the room filled with water.

I'm a member of the Metroid Zero mission and fusion 100% club. As well as every other Metroid game.
Zero mission and fusion without a doubt had some really wickedly placed items.
Trying to nail down the technique of shinesparking is really frustrating. I had to watch some youtube videos to get a better idea how it's done. There's a few items in Zero mission where you have to shinespark while in ball form to get them.
Now that was insanely difficult.

@ MetroidMasher17
Well every one except The two DS games. I'm just not into those.
I'm pretty dedicated when it comes to clearing a game 100%. It feels wrong to me to leave stuff unfinished.

Pffft. I am so a member of this club. The hardest item to get (can't remember if it was an Energy Tank or a Missile Expansion) is the one where you have to do a jumping morph-ball shinespark through that door in Brinstar. That was riDICulous.

@Link79 Eh, yeah, the DS games could have had better controls, but the multiplayer on Prime Hunters was epic, you gotta admit that.
@Kid_A Congrats on doing 100%! And, yeah, the Morph Ball Shinespark was really hard.

Wait what's the second DS game? Surely you're not referring to Pinball...

@Kid_A No, I mean Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt. Well, now that you mention it, First Hunt wasn't even really a game, more of a demo.

Can I join if I've beaten the original Metroid more than enough times to make up for not having played ZM?
No?

grumble, grumble

@NotEnoughGolds Metroid and Metroid Zero Mission are 2 different games. So, no, sorry.

@ NotEnoughGolds
The original game's items aren't really hard to aquire. It's staying alive that's the hard part.
In Zero mission you have to be really skilled at shinesparking to get everything.

Yes, i completed the game 100% years ago, so i can't remember the items that were difficult to get, but what a game! If only they'd remade Super Metroid in a like-wise way...

With kind regards,

Well, I am really good at shinesparking. Best time in Super Metroid is ~1 hour, no grappling beam.
Might have to give this game a go. Can you wall jump in this one?

Nothing can make up for not having played ZM. It is the best Metroid game EVAR.

I would of 100% my copy of ZM but i let my friend borrow it to beat the original Metroid and now anytime i save and quit playing my save gets corrupted so i need to go buy a new copy.

@ NotEnoughGolds
The Shinesparking in Super Metroid isn't quite as difficult as it is in Zero mission and fusion.
For one thing some items require that you speed dash while still in morph ball form.
You have to keep recharging your boost or you'll lose it and have to start the process over.

Here watch this video to see what I mean.

This one in particular was a real pain in the rear to get.

If Zero Mission comes to the 3DS via the Ambassador Program then I'll join this club soon enough. Meanwhile I'll just go join the Metroid Prime 100%, Corruption 100%, Other M 100%, and Super metroid 100% clubs.

Just for you.
