Topic: Super nintendo | Buying an Everdrive without the case

So I've had a super nintendo for quite a while and i've been looking for an everdrive for it.

My question is, can i buy an everdrive without the case and put it into a pal snes and get it to work. I'm just a bit edgy on buying one since they are quite pricey
