I've never beaten an rpg (apart from pokemon blue). I love playing rpgs too I just play and play and play. Then I don't play it for a couple of weeks I then go back to it and realise that I don't know where I am in the story and what I'm meant to be doing. So I just wonder around lost. Then I get bored and start another one. Maybe I should pace my gaming out haha.

I'm exactly the same. I always stop playing and I have to restart the games after a couple of weeks.

My confession? I've always believed that Super Mario Bros. 3 is overrated. In fact, I think its the weakest Mario game in the mainline series.

To add a little context, I'm a huge Mario fan. One of my first games was Super Mario Bros 1 on the NES - I adored that game, and still do. But the third has never appealed to me at any given point in time.

Today, for example, I took a bit of a day off and just got stuck into some gaming. I played a whole lot, including the excellent Meteos and Zoo Keeper on the DS, Mario Tennis Open on the 3DS, Super Mario World on the GBA, New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, etc. Loads of stuff, and had a blast. When I put on Mario 3 on the SNES (on All Stars) I just found the level designs and gameplay to be lacking compared to all the other Mario titles I was playing, and played in the past. There's something really dull about it. Try as I might it just doesn't work for me. There's little real depth to the game in my view. Its also frustrating at worst, irritating at best with regards to the difficulty. Still, its good fun at times when the challenge is fair and the levels are reasonably okay, but it pales in comparison to the likes of the first, World, 3D Land and the NSMB series.

Oh - and I also don't see the appeal in Chrono Trigger either chaps!

I never did beat a Zelda game, I beat plenty of harder games, and even some clones like Star Fox Adventures but I just found the Zelda's boring and mediocre. There I said it.

I've never played a Final Fantasy game nor do I see the appeal for any of them...

I played the first one for about 5 minutes, got destoryed by a horse or something, and got bored.

I hated the first Mega man the one time I tried it too...shooting up needs to happen....though I sorta like 2 the little bit I've played it....only Mega Man games I've played.

@WeegeeMan You're not missing out on much, it is extremely overrated. I've played a few I thought would be the most interesting, and all of those have managed to disappoint me.

You are a terrible person who doesn't know how to give good things a chance.

I've never played a Super Nintendo in my life.

I've played and had memories with every other Nintendo console, but I haven't played a Super Nintendo a single time my entire life. It's kind of sad to think about, considering how it seems to be the best console Nintendo's released, according to so many people.

I have owned a Nintendo 64 for over a year, but I've only played it for a couple of hours... Guess I just already own most of the games I want on the Virtual Console.

Are you sure you want to hear what I'm gonna say?

SUPER-COLD POST

Super Metroid is nifty, but most times it will start to bore me. The running areas and the boss fights are fun, though.

But you have played the NES right?....RIGHT!? the NES & SNES are the two ultimate & definitive consoles that must be played, especially the nes imo. I have a friend who went from an SNES(who still managed to miss out on earthbound, final fantasy 3, super metroid, all the mega man games, Super Castlevenia IV, super mario kart ect ect) as a child to a PS3 4 years ago.... an unsual leap and and a massive gap in between of complete nothingness....Ugh, all of my friends just aren't that interested in gaming, i need some real world nintendo fanboys to add to my Wave posse.

Of course I have, some of my first memories were sitting on my donkey playing Super Mario Bros 1, 2, and 3, the first 3 Mega Man games, and Zelda 1 and 2!

World

I have played and beaten Ecco Jr. more than maybe any other game I've ever encountered. Sometimes I've even done a regular mode then "hard" mode combination. There is something calming about the innocent music and the lack of danger.

And I ate up those facts about dolphins.

I'm pretty sure my favorite Mega Man game is Mega Man 6.
