Topic: Problem with SNES game (Super Street Fighter II)

Hey there everone!

I'm new here, need some help.

Right, I bought Super Street Fighter II, firstly it did not start to work at all, after first round of cleaning the picture popped up, but it was blue, so I cleaned it again. After second cleaning it worked perfectly, until after an hour, the game just like disconnects itself and starts to do it like after every 5 minutes. The console is in perfect condition, just cleaned it completly a week ago, the other games work perfectly as many hours I can handle.
What might be the problem?

Street Fighter 2 from the game boy should come to the 3ds or I hope that it come to the 3ds virtual console

Have you taken apart the cartridge and cleaned it thoroughly? It may just be a fault cartridge.

SNES games could take water damage for all I care. Do not use detergent, just hot-blow the cart first ( hot blow since cold air does nothing, and DO NOT USE AN BLOW-DRYER ) and then use paper-towel to wipe. I do this with used cartridges. Basically the hot breath air, with make the cart sweat and become water like inside and the dirt should slip off easily.

Otherwise you need to get an really lite, lite alcohol pads ( not wet ones ).
and cleanr the cart out.

You do not need to open the cartridge since the only thing that should affect gameplay is the teeth are clean, because the cartridge is solid.

Otherwise maybe the battery is dead and needs to be replaced but again that should not affect this game at all.

Another thing might be the state of the SNES as some chips can die and leave the system useless over time. Like my original SNES mode 7 chip died and the music still plays and all but games that needs it runs like crazy crazy or will stop working correctly.

No, I mean this whole thread. RegalSin's post was...an unfocused tangent as usual, but so was the second post here, #3 clearly didn't read the first post very well, and even the first post may well have been well-hidden spam meant to advertise a shoddy and suspiscious Youtube channel. And all of the replies are months after the question was asked, and OP doesn't seem to have made any other posts since (unless they were Topics?). It really is amazing.

Oh well, then let's put it out of its misery.
