Game plays like Milk&Nuts or Solomon's key. Character looks like 3CPO's head/goomba with short stumpy legs. Main attack is to use head to break stones to solve puzzle. Point is to get to goal platform usually at top right by jumping. If smash too many stones/in wrong order, cannot get to goal platform to proceed to next level. Anyone remember the name of this NES title?
^ Thanks. That was the exact game I was looking for.
There's another NES game I've been itching to get, just don't know the name. I have a very vague memory of it, but you basically explore a city. The view is top down. I think the main character was a cat, not too sure. Anyways, there were these snakes slithering on the street that you had to avoid. The snakes tend to appear near sewer holes... Anyone knows the title of this NES game, do give it a shout! TY in advance.
The only game I can think of with top-down and a cat was another Japanese-exclusive game Onyanko Town (or Cat Town as I guess it would be unofficially known).
^ OMG. You are a genius! I'm tying to reassemble all the NES games I had on a 200-in-1 cartridge once upon a time and Onyanko Town was the last one I didn't remember the title to...
guys... I'm looking for a game that my grandmother used to play when I was little but can't remember almost anything about it... it was an NES game, a platformer for children, happy music, it was set mostly in nature, but then there would be parts with these cute little houses and even some parts with just brick wall on the whole screen... and every once in a while this... I don't know how to call it, this enemy would pop up and it would jump from side to side, and it reminded me of a sack and I would call it the sack, and it would scare the macaroni out of me, the music would change to this creepy 8-bit melody, and you would have to either run away or kill it, I don't remember... I also remember the 'sack' flying around during those brick wall parts, but I'm not so sure about that... I think the main character (the player) was a bird of some kind, but I'm not totally sure, but I think I remember like sad-chirping when you would die... I know this isn't much but I'm trying to find this game for years now and am unsuccessful so far

I'm afraid I can't help with your search. Your description reminds me a bit New Zealand Story, but I think that came out on SNES, not NES.
