@Rift There's a chance it could end up on 3DS, but it could also end up like Mario 128 and never get released, however elements would end up in other games.

Oh and I think I'll get Other M. A new copy at Gamestop is only $20, can't go wrong with that.

The 1st metriod game i had was metriod prime 2 for GC, i really couldn't get into and it was hard, probably wasn't a smart choice to buy a sequel of a game before you played the 1st, but that game left a bad taste in my mouth and gave me a bad impression of the series as a whole. years later, I believe in 2008 around the holiday season gamestop had the buy 2 get 1 free deal I believe the games I got was de blob, skate it, and metriod prime 3 was a wild card because i wasn't sure what else to get. I absolutely love prime3, the action, the pacing, the controls. I have yet to bet prime 3, my copy got so scratched that it stopped working. But then i other M which is a highly underrated game, the graphics were great, alot of ppl debate which graphics are better between other m & prime 3 (i would say prime 3 overall) but still great graphics. The story was good, I the gameplay was real unique. I got the first metriod off of the VC when nintendo reimburse every1 that paid 4 the internet channel, i think it was a little to late 4 me to try to get into this game, I mainly hated the fact I had no idea where I was going because alot of the rooms look similar, and it was frustrating. I wish nintendo really took advantage of their own wiiware service and released a modern remake, or made a remake of the 1st 3 metriod games all on 1 disc and have a other m style of gameplay, I mean do something for metriod's 25th anniversary. Now I currently have metriod trilogy and am loving the 1st prime, and hopefully after I beat it I'll give prime 2 another shot.

Mario 128 was released. It's called Super Mario Galaxy.

Actually no, Mario Galaxy was heavily inspired by 128 but it is not. In an interview, Miyamoto said 128 went on to become various other games, mainly Pikmin and Galaxy.

Which is what I said. It could be scrapped, but recycled into the next thing they release.

I thought Mario Sunshine was the end result of Mario 128.
I remember hearing that game mentioned in the early days of Gamecube.

It was only after the ambassador release that I really became addicted to the original Metroid, putting up around 14 hours in it in little time doing many runs in that stretch. Right now, I would rank it third in my rankings for its limitations (no diagonal aim) bringing more focus on items like the Screw Attack and Bombs in combat, no full recharge opportunities aside from e. tanks and its rewards for bosses. Both Kraid and Ridley give a ton of missiles, and upon restarting the game after Mother Brain, Samus has all of her main upgrades still and may even be in the Justin Bailey form.

My start with the series came in April 2006, not counting the demo that came with the original DS. Metroid Prime Hunters started my interest in the series and in first person games. It remains my favorite game of the series and of all time, having replayed the single player 80+ times since July of 2009 doing a mixture of 100%, low % and normal completions. I still consider it the Metroid game that offers a full package between backstory, music and environmental details to deliver very deep and engaging atmospheres throughout the experience. Its multiplayer and single player combined often make Hunters feel like a game bundle rather than a single experience. The bot multiplayer being a more actiony take, while the single player offers the adventure. I'm really hoping that NST's talents will again be put into the Metroid Series on the 3DS, hopefully an installment that expands off of Hunters if not be a direct sequel.
